Review of Music in the Park
I booked premium tickets and as we came in that entrance you would think that the seating area and toilets would be as you walk in and not on the opposite side away from the stage, They had problems with the sound all night and had to wait ages for acts to come on, Nathan Moore could have been swapped with Peter Andre as he did not need all the sound gear, and we missed last act as it was running so late.

The event was great apart from very pricy alcohol and some of the food was expensive. South Ribble really need to sort out the issue with the toilets as they wouldn’t flush and the wash basins also ran out of water - they need to monitor them as well to make sure they are clean. Not sure what went wrong with the sound but because of the issues Peter Andre had everyone else’s set was cut short which was disappointing.

Great venue, great atmosphere and a good line up for a small town. Plenty of toilets, the food was affordable and good a good selection available. Definitely recommend and can’t wait for next year

Review of Music in the Park
My first outdoor concert of 2023 didnt disappoint as i hadnt attended the one last year.
Entry was smooth going into the park with bag search which didnt take long. Set up my picnic chair and listened to Deco who were ok.The South were better as i knew their songs. Then had a wander around for a bite to eat and a drink. To me prices were more than reasonable for cans £4 for cider and a burger at £5.Went to Lytham Festival last year the prices were really dear.Peter Andre had problems with. his set which delayed the rest of the acts Liked Nik Kershaw alot and Pat Sharp knows how to get the crowd going with his DJ Set.Bad Manners were brilliant and Bananarama topped off the night finishing just before 11pm .Well done to Nathan Moore for compering the event.Thoroughly enjoyed the day well done to South Ribble BC for staging the event.

Over all it was a great day.
Just a couple of things that need improving on:
Had a problem at the front with a woman who was very drunk amd causing troub, we tried calling the secuirty over but they were too busy talking to each other. I go to a lot of festivals and gigs and usually they have the secuirty along the front and looking at the crowd and checking for any problems.
Also my friend parked her car on the car park as she owned a blue badge. The pathway to the car park was not lit and it was dark amd hard work to find out where the path was.
Also there wasnt a spot light on Nathan Moore near the end.

Really enjoyed the event. Leyand did us proud.
Only one criticism was boys on block who were poor, they didn't actually sing any songs and were awful.
Peter Andre is really well considering he had technical issues with the sound.

Peter Andre scandalous. Forgot the words to his only song. Left his backing tape at another gig, and fired off to Barcelona after a few songs.
Bad Manners saved the show.
Deco goof
South good
Banarama 35 minutes after bad manners. Lost the audience really. Will still go again.
