Review of Music in the Park

I attended last year and this year and had a good time. The only negatives are that the drinks are limited. I can't drink anything fizzy and would like to see either cans of vodka and cranberry or something similar. I would prefer them to allow you to take your own food and drink like picnic in the park as people with dietary requirements are missing out. I found that people were taking up too much room with chairs and they were quite close to the stage and people were putting massive blankets in front of chairs so taking up too much space.
Other than that, it was a good day

Before I complete my review, I'd like to qualify one or two things. This year's event was a victim of 2022's awesome star-studded line-up. Go West, Tony Hadley, T'Pau, Doctor and the Medics etc. definitely trumped Peter Andre, Boyz N Block and Bad Manners! The 2023 line-up was not as impressive hence not gaining maximum marks. In terms of value for money, we have purchased VIP tickets on both occasions and feel they do not really offer anything for the extra cash. Slightly less queuing at the bar and posher toilets appear to be the only upgrades over general admission. This year's show was beset with a technical glitch that caused some delays. All this being said, it's a fabulous day out and I will definitely be there next year if the line-up is half-decent.

Sound problems were an issue at a few points, it could have done with the likes of Dane bowers / Pat sharp throughout the day to keep up the spirits!

Amazing day and yes it’s a bit pricey on the park but a great time was had by all very nice staff on the bars and food courts and on entrance to the park see you next year

Absolutely brilliant day, I don't think South Ribble Council ordered the glorious sunshine but it was a real bonus to a great venue and fabulous acts, thanks to them and kudos for the event, well organised, well done and thanks to skiddle for the ease of ticketing this event. Will definitely go again next year 😁

I have been to both concerts 2022 and 2023 and both were amazing, although personally I would have preferred just 80’s this year.
I do appreciate financially it does make sense to target a wider age group, roll on 2024 music in the park, I will be there for sure……

Fabulous day, organised really well. Staff very friendly, great artists, just a little hiccup with Peteg André. Great weather is always a plus. Well done. Loved it.

Fabulous day, great atmosphere, a few technical issues which cut the final act short. On the whole previous years line up was better but still had a great time

Brilliant event ticket prices reasonable, inside the event was a rip off too expensive for food and drinks when you are not allowed to take anything in.

Disappointed this year as 2022 was an amazing event.

Too many delays between bands frustratimg and boring. therefore bands were not on stsge long enough.
