Review of Revival Reading
We were disappointed with this year's event. There was no clear confirmation of the times for the acts. The one act we really wanted to see was on first. If there was a clear indication of the times we would have got there earlier. The bar prices were so ridiculous. However the DJ sets were good & the toilets were a lot better then last year.

3rd time I've been, again not organised , no timings were correct . Liberty x arrived sat outside fir ages then left as A1 app were running late . But they literally MADE the festival so worth waiting around . Cop out about technical issues, think they were made to wait around when could of coem on instead of DJ hence that's what we're paying for!!! In 3 hrs seen 1 act. Vip was not worth the pennies at all , was separate from inside the tent and x3 cubicles with x1 out of order and not well kept!! Said adults only but plenty of children around... was fun but they couldn't even open the gates to let us in on time so acts were kept short.. disappointed in acts and timings , nothing to let everyone know ... don't think I'll be back for a 4th year . Kinda want a refund for the lack of acts etc...

The event was contradicting as one website says 4pm and another 5pm then the gates didnât open until 5.15pm.
after the 1st act the other acts came on way to late
Like 1hr 30mins later than there advertised time .
The Website advertised over 18 and there was quite a lot of young children, also we Purchased Our tickets and half

Tickets online. I was totally unimpressed with this event in which I had to travel a 1hr to get to and cost over another £25 in costs for travel and that didnât include the ticket entrance. I definitely will not be booking to attend an event like this in the future. To say we enjoyed our train journey more than the event is not good. And will definitely not recommended to anyone. Itâs a real shame as this was a birthday present and was really looking forward to the event.

Cheap tickets but over priced drink and food. the bar prices were outrageous paying £2 for a b**ker to have your drink in. reading festival has cheaper prices. and the music of the bands you couldnât even hear what they where singing. Blazing Squad short changed us! 3 out of 10 band members rocked up!!

Was good music wise £6.50 for a can of cider is far to much not even a full pint if your paying £6.50 you expect a full pint not a small 440ml can. Really not enough toilets. Toilets to far away and had to walk up and down a hill to get to them should off been nearer to the top of the hill near music tent and bar Que for the the toilet ruined the event as spent a lot of time time queuing for my daughter to use the toilet. Also fun fair ride was a rip off on the walzer £5 per person to both sit in the same car worked out £10 for 2 of us in one car really slippy on the ride fell over and damage my knee getting on the ride for it to only last 2 minutes and thatâs timed as looked at time when I got on and then when I got of 2 times round no excuse as itâs not like they had a big que waiting to get on.
