Sound was absolutely terrible no more than 5k
Could nor hear any lyrics
No live bands except for aswad all others singing to backing tracks
Food massively over priced

Was really looking forward to this event but left early-6.00 p.m. because everything running late and very little atmosphere. No festival should start with piped music. Where was the DJ ? Where was the welcome to the festival? Where was the energy ? Reggae is colour and noise and life-where were the steel pans, flags, banners, bunting? Merchandising opportunities lost-t shirts, ethnic crafts etc. Instead rip off poor quality food, rum punch
lacking rum, poor continuity. Might as well have had events hosted by robots.

Absolutely brilliant 1 day festival, would like to see more of these - great idea around the tokens for food and drink possibly a little over priced and perhaps having the option to pay in cash for some items.

Review of Summer Love Reading
Standard of the artist’s was great although we were most disappointed with the poor sound system, can’t believe how poor it was especially for Reggae music. The token system for paying for food and drink isn’t great and everything was expensive. So with tickets, paying for parking and food/drinks it was a really expensive day. More would have gone if the event was reasonably priced.
