Review of Cerys Hafana
Cerys is so talented. Played 6 instruments .... and was great at giving context to the set. A brilliant concert .... diolch. Onedown side ...... the venue ...... the first part of the concert was really undermined by the loudly ticking clock at the back of the hall. So the quiter parts of the music was ruined. This was sorted for the second half ...... but as this place is regularly used for events this seemed a real oversight by the organisers.

Review of Simeon Walker + David John Fitzpatrick
David Fitzpatrick seemed to be singing at the wall as he was not looking directly at the audience. He whispered every song and it was very difficult to hear any of his lyrics. His music was one-paced and repetitive.
Simeon Walker was much better, but he talked too much: he should have let his music do the talking. Big gaps between songs.
This was a very disappointing gig as I think it's a wonderful venue. Seeing Tiny Leaves on the 18th May at Carding Mill Valley was much more entertaining.

Review of Simeon Walker + David John Fitzpatrick
Excellent gig in a venue full of character. A real personal feel and obvious passion from the promoter which was reciprocated by the performers. Only rated down on the venue as pews are pretty uncomfortable seating, even with a supplied cushion!
