Nice event for kids. Low key. Felt quite expensive for adults given that there was nothing adult orientated to do. Could have done with better signage - events weren't where you expected and there weren't signs or good announcements.

Loved the circus, my child liked the inflatables. I enjoyed the exotic zoo once I found them.

Food was OK but very little vegetarian or vegan choice.

The concept is brilliant and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful but it did feel a little bit disappointing vs the marketing. The main stage area was in a small clubhouse and completely inaccessible for sensory issues - no quieter/take a step back space and very crammed in. Activities were much more limited than advertised, and felt geared more towards day visitors - by 5pm everything shut down except the sandpit and the very loud clubhouse!
Loads of stalls selling stuff but only 3 food places with limited selections and no vegan options as had been advertised - child has dairy allergy so chips etc fine but again was disappointed as advertising suggested differently. Absolutely expected some sellers there but as it’s sold as an all inclusive event expected more included activities than selling opportunities, and it felt a little bit uncomfortable with having lots of sellers of Native American origin with the Wild West set up next to them dressed up as “Indians” and waving confederate flags!
Nelly’s nests were there on the Saturday and absolutely amazing for any one with additional needs/sensory issues but a real shame they weren’t there all weekend, and the nerf area was another highlight - the guy was brilliant with the kids and was a bit set back from the rest of it which really helped!
Camping facilities weren’t great - toilets across the whole site were disgusting and most got blocked by the Sunday, showers were pretty rubbish, washing up facilities were very limited and in the middle of the stalls, and all were really long walks away from pitches. For a kids festival was a bit disappointing that there weren’t any “quiet times” observed - we may have been unlucky with where we were pitched but people playing music and screaming/shouting until gone midnight and then kids running and screaming around outside before 5am didn’t help the whole experience!
Overall concept and staff were fab, a couple of amazing individual stall holders (Nelly’s nests and Nerf guns), marketing was excellent but unfortunately fell a little bit flat compared to expectations and is definitely not suitable for autistic kids/anyone with sensory issues (or vegans!)

The key issue with the venue is the toilets and showers. They were stinking and overflowing with urine. if you're to use this venue in future I would strongly recommend you get the venue to refurbish and modernise the facilities. Until then we will not be attending again, which is a shame as the concept is brilliant.

It was more of a fair with lots of traders than a festival. Music only in one place and none outdoors. For children with sensory issues far too loud. Very few food options and toilets needed to be kept cleaner.

Fantastic event that we and the kids loved! Souch for the kids to do and safe enough to let them have a little freedom and come back to you. Highly recommend for any family looking for either a fun day or weekend out!

Didn’t realise it was a Dog friendly event with it being a children’s event .
To many Guns for sale and the floors were covered in explosive bangers the kids were throwing on the ground ,
Felt more like a Bouncy castle day out really!

It was really fun for the children, There was so much to do The only thing I would change was the distance of the toilets especially with 2 small children it was quite far from where we were pitched, but overall it was a really great experience

I was really disappointed that children on the spectrum were not considered.
They advertised that there would be calm places for children to unwind but it was only there for one day. However, that was excellent.

Campers who didn't book a hook up seemed to be an after thought as we were the furthest from the event.

Excellent first Woodshrop, very laid back festival. Some problems with the sound but it didn't impact too much. Tom Jones, Tina Turner, Elvis and Michael Jackson were all incredible. Fantastic line up with music for everyone. The weather was a worry but we got very lucky. We'll be back again, can you hold it earlier in the year so we can camp, it's too cold at the end of September.

This event was amazing from start to finish.

The selection of varied music genre was fantastic covering everyone's taste.

Well done to the guys who organised this event 👏

The venue was spot on. Toilet block could do with slight update but apart from that was great plenty of space between campers.

We will definitely be attending next year, fantastic Woodshrop keep up the amazing work.


And may I say to whom ever placed the review regarding Wednesbury people, me, my wife and family spent most of the nights under the tents provided for bad weather and saw nothing that was out of order, being from that area find it very offensive that you tarnish everyone with the same brush.

All we saw all weekend was people from different backgrounds, age groups and areas all having an amazing time together.

Shame on you, but wish you happiness in you small minded world, where you think everyone from one area is bad.

Very laid back tribute festival, well organised, not expensive, staff were lovely, the venue is great if you have never been it is a great campsite, acts were good, even the bad ones as we all enjoyed it. There as a group and it was perfect for us, could take chairs and drinks to show to watch, food stalls available, market stalls too although they all shut quite early but may have been weather. Did think would have been a bigger fairground as was only one ride but again may be weather related and personal as wanted to go to the fair! overall great value for money and would recommend

The staff were very helpful - Emma (Joss Events) really went out of her way to help. Thank you Emma. Music for all tastes but The Queen, Tom Jones and Michael Jackson tributes in particular, put on a fantastic show. However I felt that most of the acts could have benefitted with some more ‘oomph’ through the sound system. A good weekend - really enjoyed it.

Thoroughly enjoyed this small festival. Staff very helpful. The DJ was amazing!! Most of the acts were great, but in particular Dusty Springfield, The Bee Gees, ABBA and Elvis. Not good was George Michael & Dolly Parton (they were terrible). I'll be booking for next year.
