Review of SOULTASIA - Berkshire
Unfortunately there was a real wifi connection issue which meant tills on the bars werent working when everyone was arriving and trying to get drinks, so long queues everyone which wasnt a great start, but once up and running (probably due to everyone trying to show their Covid Pass App!) it was a great evening with a great atmosphere, and our singing covered up any 'weak' voices on the stage, but great lineup and so good to see them there. Fab DJ set too! Lovely to have all the stands there too selling festival stuff, face painting etc etc Really good fun - never been to one before

Easy access, loved the VIP area, seating and view were great, food and drink nice too, drinks a bit expensive but seems to be the norm these days. Toilets should have been cleaned and cleared more regularly

Review of SOULTASIA - Berkshire
We paid for Garden tickets which basically were a rip-off. These tickets were for a VIP area which turned out to be fenced off from the main area by a high fence and was also to the left and slightly behind the stage. We could see very little of the stage/acts from this area. We also followed the advice on the website and did not take any food/drink in and were very annoyed to see that some other patrons had brought their own. This was facilitated by the fact that there were no bag checks on entry despite the website stating there would be such checks. Instead we joined the long queues for the hospitality outlets which charged extortionate prices for their food and drink.
The taps in the gents toilets that my husband visited in this VIP area also didn't have any water!!
Eventually we moved out to the main area and were able to enjoy a much better view of the stage, not as many queing for refreshments as there was more choice and a much nicer atmosphere.
We wish we hadn't paid for VIP tickets and would not recommend them to anyone considering them for future events.

Review of SOULTASIA - Berkshire
We loved the event but the pre night communication was very poor and it wasn't clear when the event was starting - everything I looked at said 6:30 pm but when we arrived, we found that the event started much earlier and we had already missed some acts. The VIP area was very very poor and view of the stage was to the side and minimal. We ended up going into the middle in front of the stage instead - really wasn't worth paying the extra money for VIP. I would have thought the VIP area would be in the front with the best views. Acts were good, could have done with one or more but maybe that's because we missed the first ones because of the time start shown.

VIP area should have clear panels not good seating sitting at side snd having to look over a fence. Also need to manage parking a lot better took hour to get out of car park no direction given could be a lot better organised

Security polite. Music good. Crowd friendly.
Getting 3 different drinks, involved queuing up 3 times (20-30 minutes each time). Didn't even bother with the food.
Getting out the carpark after the event was utter chaos and took 40 minutes.

Very good night with some excellent music. The standard area seemed to be well prepared and laid out and probably better than the VIP area. Nice atmosphere. Good Covid protocol implemented.

Review of SOULTASIA - Berkshire
Loved the music but venue really let it down, roads completely blocked in every direction trying to get into the car park, road control staff were useless to non - existent. Queue to get in venue was huge and slow, took over half an hour to get served at bar and no atmosphere, enjoyed Soultasia but wouldnt bother going to Windsor again, very disappointed with lack of atmosphere. Next time, book Lo Lounge in Ascot, was there 2 weeks ago and their organisation was amazing, million times better venue that Windsor.

Lovely staff, great choice of food and drink & good entertainment.
My only gripe is in regards to the VIP area, we paid twice the price of a GA ticket for VIP access. On arrival we were directed in only to find that the whole area has a massive solid stainless steel fence around it so you couldn’t actually see into the main arena or much of the main stage. We had to go into the general admission area to be able to see the show. Which wasn’t a problem in that it was a great party atmosphere- but frustrating when you’ve paid twice the price for nothing.
The exterior fencing were all see through, why the dividing fence for VIP and GA was a solid stainless steel fence I really don’t know.
Then there was the absolute chaos trying to get out of Windsor racecourse carpark- I’ve never seen anything like it!

Review of SOULTASIA - Berkshire
I had purchased the VIP garden tickets. Very disappointed at the area Provided. We could hardly see the acts due to the massive metal fence penning us in. The people who had purchased tickets for standing which were much cheaper had a full on view of everything. In the end people were standing on the tables to look over the fence. Absolutely ridiculous! I would of thought if you had paid VIP at £50 it would have been front of stage. Everyone were complaining. We were told that folding chairs and bringing your own food was not allowed yet lots of people had done this In the standing area , which was a joke as we accepted the rules and bought 3 chicken wraps at the cost of £30!!! Also the drinks were very expensive £35 for a jug of Pimms, daylight robbery. !! That’s when they could find a jug!! Two pints of beer and a red wine £23!! No choice of mixers for spirits either! I realise that business are trying to claw back some money due to COVID but the prices were unreal. The toilets were definitely not luxury, no paper, hand wash or sanitizer.
The acts and music were outstanding, however the sound was not great at times especially for Jocelyn Brown. So all in all my review is mixed, it was my birthday and I was really looking forward to this event so by the end I felt deflated to be honest.
