Great weekend shame about weather

Disorganisation on entry, took us over an hour to get our wristbands so ended up missing the first act on Friday. A lot of the delays were caused by the searches and people being frisked, whereas understand due to safety issues but this seemed to be more about stopping people taking in their own alcohol. The rain came and was relentless, nothing anyone can do about that, however some measures could have been taken to ease the really muddy areas i.e. some metal gridding or even straw around the toilet areas at both the venue and camping areas, also same around the shower area and entrance/exit of the venue. The food was reasonable however the drinks very overpriced. Only freshwater available was down near the entrance, nothing provided separately at the campsite which was a long exhausting climb up and down a steep hill, then surrounded by mud which makes it very difficult to carry the water and be able to stabilise yourself. We left on Sunday even though we had a weekend ticket as couldn't face the thought of it becoming even more treacherous underfoot and exhausting trying to walk through thick, sticky mud where you slipped or got stuck !!! We also got stuck in our campervan trying to leave, luckily did manage to get off eventually but the exit again thick mud... nobody can help the weather but feel SOTT organisers can take better measures to alleviate how much it affects peoples safely and enjoyment.

Good atmosphere, music to suit everyone, nice venue, not nice mud!

Mud. Oh yes, there was Mud. And rain. And I still had the best time. And have already bought a ticket for next year. Of course with the mud there were difficulties but it was really well organised and everyone did their best to deal them. A lot of security but very professional and helpful. Whoever chooses the music, I love you! Feeder were so, so good.

Could run later to about midnight / 1 pm with a dance tent. Great small venue.

So wet we didn't stay. Stewards were hopeless, signing was totally inadequate. Rain not festival's fault but their response to it for late customers was poor to non-existent.

We didn't go in.
I'm disabled
We went to the festival but they wouldn't let us into the disabled camping area because it was full and also blocked off because of the flooding.
We didn't go in because where they parked up was too far away so we had to book a hotel.
We are just went back home on Saturday because it' was pouring with rain still and it will be terrible there now like Glastonbury conditions.
The weather conditions were terrible.
A refund is required.

Great friendly Festival ,with all accomadeted for.Great bands and venue ?'? can't help the weather but all the staff and security etc were really helpful.cant wait for next year already.🤞🌞🎵🎶

Great weekend, rain didn't stop play despite its best efforts.
Points to note, toilet bins and van toilets waste not emptied enough. Showers hot when they worked.
Bar service outstanding very well organised as was were all the acts what a great line up🎉?'??'?

Third time at this festival and despite the weather, we had a fantastic time!
Staff always helpful and friendly.
Only point to note is that the big top music could be heard over the main stage quite a bit this year.
Will be booking again for next year!

Music from tent and main stage clashed and therefore you could not hear well. Separate fields or changing the timings would be better. Staff all helpful and bars organized well. Great food truck in camping field.

This is our third year here and we love it. Not too crowded and the atmosphere is fantastic. The weather made the terrain hard to navigate this year and no doubt lessons have been learned from this! Please put straw down outside toilets at least! My only disappointment this year was the lack of food variety compared with previous years. A jacket potato place or somewhere doing Mac cheese or pasta would have been good! We'll be back next year though and recommend this festival to all our friends and family.

It was a very enjoyable festival with great bands, a lovely venue and an appreciative crowd. I have marked the venue down one star for three reasons: 1. this year, live-in vehicles were moved to a bigger field but no potable water was available without a significant difficult (30 minute round trip) involving the biggest hill, 2. the 40 minute gap between gates opening and the start of the first band is woefully short of what the staff can handle and, 3. the volume of the big top stage is often too loud for the competing acts on the main stage. Try repositioning the opening of the big top to deflect some sound away. These are observations on the management of the site and should not detract from the overall quality and enjoyment of the gig. It was our third year!

A really lovely sensible crowd and venue, perfect size don't get too big.
