Review of Official Hitchin Fireworks Display 2024
Tiny space for the amount of people, so few food and drinks vendors that the entire space was just a collection of queues the entire width of the space, hadn't even got halfway through one of these queues before the fireworks started and then only lasted 15 minutes or so without music, everyone immediately went to leave since they were tired of queuing and then there was a massive crowd rush bottleneck at the exit as they had not prepared for letting that many people out

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
The funfair area was not great. A stage with lights was the focal point, with some questionable halloween themed music being played. A very small selection of rides, and some food stands where not one offered a burger or hotdog. Drinks were extortionately priced, £6 for a 330ml can of lager!
In the maze, the actors were brilliant and put so much effort in. Unfortunately the experience itself only lasted about 20 mins which made the tick*ts poor value for money in comparison to other scare mazes. Even though we went to the later 14+ session, it was not scary enough either. However, for being it's 1st year of operation, A Nightmare At The Priory had great potential, and hopefully the organisers will take note of reviews such as this to build on future events should they make it an anual experience option.

Review of A Nightmare at The Priory
A scary funny, fabulous evening. Characters were 100% committed to their roles, storyline was good, scares around every corner. It was spine tingling in places. Seemed much longer than the 30mins, excellent evening

Review of Official Hitchin Fireworks Display 2024
The fireworks were decent enough but you would expect them to be set to music and there was just silence which made it a bit dull. We also thought the fireworks were due to start at 8pm but they actually started 15 minutes early, there wasn't even a countdown to start it off. When music was playing, you could only hear it if you were right next to the stage, more speakers were needed. But the worst was all the queues everywhere for food and there was only one bar, we waited in a queue for over a half hour but then never bothered to get our drinks once the fireworks started.

Review of Official Hitchin Fireworks Display 2024
Thanks for the chance to review the fireworks at Priory Hitchin. The fireworks were good but could have been much better with a few tweaks.
1:- The fireworks went off with no warning. A countdown would have got the crowd involved. The display would have worked better set to music and even a laser display. The fireworks display was positioned to right of the crowd and needed to be more central as there was t***poline equipment obstructing the view with its lights distracting the from the effects of the display.
2:- Food outlets, could have been tripled them as the queues for food were over an hour. We were lucky to get our food just as the fireworks started, but many people were in an hour long queue and unable to enjoy the display with their families. Such a shame. You could have lost the stage for more food outlets.
3:- A raised area for wheelchair users would have been good as it would have improved the view.
4:- I know managing crowds is an art form. However there was a bottleneck when leaving. I was worried if som**hing happened on the site it would have been difficult to get out without being t***pled in the rush. The staff on duty were polite and helpful both in and out.
The fireworks were good but could have been amazing with the right tweaks.
