Very overcrowded for size of venue and the facilities provided
Had to queue for an hour for food (shortest line we could find)
Not impressed at all for what we paid tick*t wise, everything very mediocre including fireworks
Also seemed like the event was oversold and seemed a bit of a safety risk tbh

Comically bad - the live music was drowned out by the loud fairground music leading to a nauseating listening experience (not helped by the strobe lights), the selection of drinks at the bar were dire and the prices were astonishing. The atmosphere was dismal - it was a big open field ringed by a motley selection of stalls and then there was just nothing else, not even a place to sit down. We lasted almost twenty minutes before we decided we'd rather just spend the night in 'spoons and watch the fireworks from the street.

Unfortunately a very poorly put together event. Fireworks happened with no notice. No music or PA system, huge queues for food trucks that were overwhelmed. One bar for the whole event was just a bad decision. It's a shame as the event could be great. But some better thinking behind the organising would be good.
Also having everyone exit out of one exit was very slow. Surely that could be improved as well.

Event was really overcrowded - dangerously so. The queues were so long for the bar/ food. There was no announcement when the fireworks started (they started 15 mins early) and they weren't set to music. Big disappointment.

Great location but live music and food trucks not as expected. Too many queues and venue too small for the number of people. Fireworks themselves were excellent and tick*t prices ok. Local food options like Hitchin street food and New Town Centres type band would bring people back year after year.

No one could tell us time for fireworks display, Poor live music - loud fair ride music took over sound atmosphere & very long queues for food . Great firework display though.

Fireworks were excellent except no introduction, commentary or music - consequently atmosphere dominated by fairground rides. Couldn't get anywhere near the bar or food offerings -such huge queues for everything. Overheard that bar prices were very high.
