Review of Cheshire Fest 2024
Brand New Heavies were on the line up but didn't appear. No reference to them not appearing or why. So this was a total mis sell with no explanation. The spaces between the music were too long and the overall production just seemed poor. The garage orchestra group were great as was Jocelyn Brown. But there did appear to be sound issues through the day. It took so long for Lisa Stansfield to come on we listened to one song and then left at 10:15pm. I won't go to Cheshire Fest again. Very disappointing.

Review of Cheshire Fest 2024
A qualified positive review. The music and the food, drink and toilet options were excellent. Tickets for the VIP area were expensive, but just about on balance worth the additional cost for the facilities. At times toilet queues became lengthy due to guests from other areas joining the queue (insufficient capacity elsewhere?) and women were using / had to use the men's toilet. After a very warm day, the evening became cool, but many heaters were not on or were not working.
Although many tickets were shown as 'sold out', it felt not as well attended as it could have been and the atmosphere suffered a little, despite brilliant weather.
The main negative related to the departure, and the absent / poor traffic and people management. The roads were gridlocked and chaotic and many drunken people were wandering in and out of traffic increasing the risk to themselves and others.
It was still a great afternoon but it could have easily been absolutely exceptional.

Review of Cheshire Fest 2024
It's unlike any festival I've been to. The premium/VIP areas face the stage, so people have no incentive to leave that area and join the main crowd, making the crowd spa**e. Also camping chairs gave garden party vibes rather than festival vibes. Not really my scene. Upon leaving, staff had no information about taxis home, which is essential information to provide given the site is in the middle of nowhere. My driver was also yelled at by staff for picking up in the drop off zone, though this wasn't well signposted. Lots of cleaners though, some reasonable priced food vendors and I enjoyed the act I stayed for (Jocelyn Brown).

Review of Cheshire Fest 2024
the tickets had clearly undersold, they put a high profile act on very early in the day to get people in spending money , you couldn't bring your own water in, there was no water filling station and the bar did not provide free water (completely unacceptable on a hot day) and the gaps between acts was too long. the lineup would have to be excellent for me to go to this again.
