Fantastic night , would reccomend to friends and family, the music was by far the best mainly the 2 last acts ( shapeshifters&latsnight tuff guy) prices were abit steep as we spend quiet abit in just the few hours as there was 2 of us! But other than that well done to Ed for organising everything aslong side his team! #gin&disco2018

Is there a refund available? The event was not as described - there were not 12 mixers at all. Disco was not anything like an outdoor festival. I paid £27 for a ticket that included one gin, but found out after that I could have paid £20 on the door after 7pm. Certainly not worth £27 - all in all I've spent over £100 for a night out in Stoke! Measures depended on who was serving. Matrix were good but all others not. Could have just put a tape mix on and enjoyed it more. Sorry to be negative but it was really disappointing.  Only saving grace was the friendly staff, clean toilets and the henna and moon glitter stand.

They changed the venue last minute. There was a lack of food, ran out of Gin, the atmosphere wasn’t great and the toilets were inadequate for this type of event. Was very disappointed. Free gin on arrival was slopped into a plastic cup with a dash of tonic. Should not be sold as a ‘gin’ event.

How the organisers of this event can justify the prices of drinks is beyond me ..£5 for half a pint of lager !!!! £7 for a single gin !! Disgusting.. left after an hour .. will never go to an event organised by them again

Felt very school disco - expensive for what it was. Expensive gin in a plastic glass 🙄 lots of people left early so no atmosphere - we gave up at 8.45pm as we were bored - DJ with no crowd interaction. Matrix were however fab!

Don’t know if it wa the venue change or weather you didn’t sell many tickets but the whole thing lacked atmosphere! The gin bars were just people servicing drinks, no . knowledge of which gin with which mixer and the food venders were non existent . It was a little like being at a school disco, , think you probably should have altered timing as it was indoors or blacked the windows . Sorry!

I was looking forward to this event with my friends but was disappointed. I realise the venue was changed last minute, however there was no atmosphere, not many people there and the security staff were rude, 2 security men came into the toilets shouting at all the women to hurry up as they were taking too long, just RUDE! We left and went to another pub!

The venue was not the right choice. I wished I had opted for a refund when the change of venue was announced but thought I’d give it the benefit of the doubt after seeing videos of the other gin & discos that took place in doors it looked awesome. However the event at the Kings Hall was more like a school disco, really disappointed and not worth the money that I had paid, we even left early! I would not recommend this event to anyone!!

Even though the venue change did not bother us the atmosphere just wasnt very good. The background music was too loud so you couldnt hear what songs were being sung, room was very bright which didnt add to the disco atmosphere at all. Some pop up stationd sold out of gin at 5pm and some drinks were very over priced. A can of estrella £5?!

Food stand was 1 burger van outside with some benches for the outdoor area.

Some major changes needed to make us go again.. gutted as we were looking forward to it sooo much

Poorly attended , felt the DJs didn’t read the room and played what they liked not what would of kept people to stay which in the end was around 70 people !
Never felt like a party atmosphere!

For a last minute change of venue it was a great evening., well organised. Maybe could’ve used a few more security staff to reduce queue times and food options could’ve have been more vegetarian friendly but overall a good time.
