Review of Swansea Street Food Festival
Really nice event, great food, good stalls, sadly spoiled by an overly-aggressive security guard who was out looking for trouble. The music was just some clubby stuff blasting from some speakers, which didn't really add anything - nothing would have been preferable.

Really poor organisation this year. The website still had the old details on which caused a fair bit of confusion. We couldn't get in because the que was so big and there was no chance we were waiting given the very limited seating and the charging. Felt like it was all about the money this year and not the experience. We've previously recommended the event, but wouldn't going forwards

There are a few suggestions for future events:
Why advise people to buy a ticket if they are not checked and the event is free - wasted so much time
Make the venue larger so that more people can wander about and get rid of the fences - it would be less hassle for everyone involved
I would reconsider attending if the queuing system isn't altered next time

A bit slow to get people into the venue on first day, probably due to change of venue.
Music on speakers was a bit too loud.
Food was amazing, although a bit pricey. Would be nice if it was possible to get smaller portions so can try a bigger variety of food
Atmosphere was really good and had a lovely vibe to it

Weird choice of location, would have been better somewhere more centralised.
Prices were extortionate and quality was poor compared to other years.
In particular, the tacos were so bland and cost £10. I paid £3 for a black americano that tasted of hot water after waiting in line for 15 minutes. Think they brewed it at too high of a temperature, defo wouldn't recommend the barista boys. Was difficult to get any food for less than £12 which then put you off trying multiple stalls. Best thing I found was the burger but this cost £14 which seemed a bit much considering it wasn't even as good as a five guys which I could have got for £12.
I ended up leaving early to get a pizza boys as I could guarantee it would be good quality. The pizza place on site was pumping out average looking pizzas for more than what pizza boys charge.
Not sure I'd go again next year, does anyone quality check these stalls before letting them sign up?

The food stalls were all very friendly and the food tasted amazing!
Venue was a good location with view of the beach and plenty of available parking.
Downfall, not many stalls sold cold drinks. Only one I noted to seek cold cans of pop, the only other stall to sell non-alcohol drinks was the beer stand. Which had a very lengthy queue as normal.
Second downfall, there was very little free seating areas/ room on the grass to make into a seating area without being stepped on. When considering what you pay at these events for food and drink, you’d like to think there would be at least somewhere ( even a spot of grass) where you could park your…and chill out and eat your food.

Food operators should offer a sample menu so that goers can taste far more dishes. Reservation of tables is a bad idea as many tables were empty when people weee desperate to sit down , especially when weather was poor.

Not enough seating unless reserved and not enough room . Only coffee vendor had issues with machine, had to purchase outside of event. Stayed 30mins. Definitely in wrong location.

Last year they had 5 pound dishes. Nothing of the sort this time. Most meals around 12 pound. Going with a family of 4 with drinks and trying desserts you need at least 100 pound.

Review of Swansea Street Food Festival
The venue size was completely unsuitable for the number of people registered to attend. Queues to enter were in excess of 40 minutes on Saturday afternoon and when inside queues for venders were crazy. There was very little seated options available, probably due to the size.
The original location would have been better or somewhere of at least equal size.
