we didn't even get in. we were in the queue for fifteen minutes with our daughter and we moved four metres. the queue was huge. we would have been there for over an hour. when we walked past the queue, the entrance was single file with one security guard doing bag checks for two queues. the irony was that the other queue was for people that had paid for queue jump but was just as long as the free ticket queue. my friend bothered to queue to get in and she said the food was average and over priced, it was too crowded and small, it seemed oversold/booked, and there were issues with queues inside too. at least I didn't have to pay for my ticket!

Unable to get in to the event - had tickets but when we arrived about 2pm on Saturday 8/4/2023 the queue was huge with at least 200 people waiting. We went to the front to make sure this was the queue for the people with tickets and we were told that it was one out, one in and there was another queue for those who had paid extra to 'queue jump' - this was also long and also operated a one out, one in. The queue was not moving at all even though it didnt look busy inside the event so we opted not to go in. Really disappointed. The event should have been tickets for each day and not a whole weekend ticket.

Us and our children did enjoy but we would have liked more variety in the live music other than a DJ playing similar music for 4 hours. Our family left at around 7pm Monday and quite a few of the food trucks had already shut by then, even though it was advertised as being open till 11pm and lots of people were still arriving when we were leaving. Also more seating areas, as ours was like gold dust.

A bit of a queue to get in but the wait wasn’t too bad. There was very little queuing on the inside because of this though. The array of food offerings was really good. Our group ate in several different places and all were excellent both quality and portion size. Considering the event was moved earlier in the week it was still very well organised. In fact I would say we preferred the new location. A great afternoon out.

I preferred the old venue to the new one in mumbles. The new one seemed more squashed together.
The prices were very expensive, but the food was delicious. An idea would be for each vendor to offer a taster dish for a cheaper price as we found ourselves quite full but wanted to taste everything!!

We were not expecting to have as good a day as we did. The weather was not the best but the table we had reserved was under a marquee, and within close range of everything. The staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
The choice of food stalls was amazing and to be fair the prices were comparable to the delicious portion size we received.
We will certainly be booking to attend again.

Didn't even manage to get into the event. Although ticketed, queued for an hour, got fed up and left. There was trouble outside as we were queueing with security and a gentleman which wasn't nice to see when you had your child with you, and lots of other children around. Don't think the venue was the right location for such an event, queueing right by an extremely busy main road. Didn't attempt to go any of the other days as was put off after of first attempted visit.

I hate to give bad reviews as we went last year and thought it was brilliant but the event was completely oversubscribed and we didn't even make it inside this time. We arrived at 1pm on Saturday and the queues were blocking the beach walkways and cycle paths, it was complete chaos. Even the queue jump queue was incredibly long with people telling me they had been in it for over an hour.
We queued for an hour and were nowhere near the front so left to have lunch elsewhere as several people came out of the food festival to tell us they queued for hours to get in and were then met with further long queues inside. The security at the entrance told us it was now '1 in 1 out' so everyone in the queue would be there for hours.
Considering this is a ticketed event (and we were told you could only get in with tickets) they should have a cap on tickets once they reach capacity. We also saw people show up who had not pre-booked tickets, but there were signs along the queue saying 'scan this QR code if you don't have tickets yet' making it a free-for-all. It's such a wonderful event for the community and we'd love to attend next year as we had such a great day out last year.
Please could you look into this for next year and perhaps give 3 hour time slot tickets rather than tickets that allow entry for the whole weekend, plus a cap on how many tickets are sold so the queues don't get so long once you reach capacity.
