Review of Sam Ryder Live at Singleton Park, Swansea
Gig was wonderful! The set up of Singleton Park and where we entered to concert was awful we had to walk up a bank through trees no path it was pouring with rain very madding and dangerous. The worst big was leaving the venue no lights down the muddy bank very dark the man told us to be carful as there were branches falling off the trees due to the weather !

Review of Sam Ryder Live at Singleton Park, Swansea
Weather was terrible yet doors closed at 7pm, even though he wasn't on until 9:15. Surely given the extreme weather he could have either been brought forward or you could have been more flexible with gate times so kids didn't have to wait 2 and a half hours in the heavy rain and wind for him to come on.

I bought 3 VIP tickets for over £210, had to take our own chairs and it was packed inside the VIP area and was charged £3.50 for a 500ml bottle of water was scandalous

Review of Sam Ryder Live at Singleton Park, Swansea
The weather was terrible but that couldn’t be helped, Sam still put on an amazing show. What ruined the night for us was being forced to be inside the venue by 7pm, even though we knew Sam wasn’t due on stage till 9.15pm. In the horrendous weather conditions it felt like we were being held hostage on site when it would have fairer to allow the audience to arrive nearer the one athe time. We had to take shelter in a tent and just sit on the floor for 2 hours, like many others. I’ve been to 100s of concerts and never known there be cut-off time like this.
Then once inside the bar prices were RIDICULOUS! £6.50 for a warm can of Budweiser?! £35 for a cheap bottle of wine?! There were sign’s everywhere saying that wine was served by the glass but that didn’t seem to be the case. I ended up with a blue vodka alcopop in a can that cost me £10!!! Unbelievable. Haven’t recently attended one of the BST events at Hyde Park where the drink choices were much better & the prices more reasonable, this was a big disappointment.
None of this reflects on Sam’s performance though. Just disappointed in the organisers fleecing people.

Review of Escape Swansea 2023
Was good till certain points. Wilkinson was amazing, 100% the one who made my festival good. Map was confusing leading us to loose out on djs we wanted to see. Way too overpriced. £11.90 for a double vodka! Also got my hand burnt by a idiot in the tent smoking a cigarette when everyone was squished so now have to deal with blisters. Not the venue itselfâs fault but maybe a rule not to smoke inside tents to prevent it happening to someone else. Overall, it was a good day. Hope more well known djs are announced for next year :)

Review of Sam Ryder Live at Singleton Park, Swansea
Very well organised event. Shame about the rain but was duly catered for with quite a fair bit of covering. Plenty of variety of food/drink stations. Relaxed atmosphere. All round one of the better run events I have been to.
