Review of Sam Ryder Live at Singleton Park, Swansea
Lovely time was had by all, however please learn from below
Only minor note is with the wet weather I wish the security people were allowed to stamp you out to return with waterproofs left in cars, I was clearly soaked to the bone and freezing, had 4 more hours in the rain and was told no when I asked if I could pop out to change into my better waterproof that was in my car in the nearest car park.
It was no entry and no return if you’ve left after 7pm which was ridiculously early, especially when they had over 12 security just chatting on the front gate gone 9pm so it can’t have been that hard to monitor who was wanting to leave and return if they just had a small simple request of going to change their coat. I definitely wasn’t the only one requesting that.

I wish I could leave a true review but instead I didn’t even get to the Gig. The weather was so bad that myself and my daughter who uses an electric wheelchair couldn’t attend. I am recovering from Breast cancer. Also I couldn’t find out how to sell or pass on my tickets to anyone else.We are so gutted that we couldn’t make the gig . Singleton park was really waterlogged.

Poor Arranging by the Organiser- Prices were Ridiculous, Alcohol was literally warm as nothing was refrigerated. (nothing worse than warm beer). In Singleton park there are sections without lights on the path where elderly were struggling to walk down embankments in very slippery Mud without any light straight after leaving the entrance on a grassy slope. Music by Sam was amazing though.

Review of Sam Ryder Live at Singleton Park, Swansea
For me the weather put a bit of a damper on my first outdoor concert experience as it was a long time waiting from 5pm till 9pm to see Sam Ryder, (who was excellent 👌) in the torrential rain. Pity the acts couldn't have been brought forward a bit timewise. There was a good family atmosphere despite the weather, although the second act swore too much for a family audience. He did apologise, but then carried on...
but Sam Ryder, what a talent!🤩

Review of Sam Ryder Live at Singleton Park, Swansea
Disability area was not under cover and the poor disabled people got soaked. Not easy access for wheelchairs either.
Generally poor access even for abled bodied via narrow park paths in total darkness at night.
Warm up band casey kept swearing and this was a family gig with lots of young children attending with their parents. It was pouring down and Sam Ryder was 30 mins late going on stage at a venue they threatened with last entry was 7pm and Sam Ryder got on stage 9.15pm. Total disrespect to all standing out in the wind and rain for so long. Saw several families giving up as kids was soaked and it all became too difficult for them. At least if he came on in time people would have 30 mins less in the mud rain and wind.

Sam Ryder, Casey Lowry and Who’s Molly were all incredible, I didn’t see the first cover band. The rain didn’t dampen spirits too much and there were some (very busy) covered areas you could go to. The only downside of the night was the sheer price of the drinks. £19.50 for 3 cans of Brothers Cider and £35 for a bottle of wine was extortionate. Other than that, I have never been happier to stand in a park in the pouring rain in summer! It was a fantastic night

Review of Sam Ryder Live at Singleton Park, Swansea
Sam Ryder was awesome. One of the only things I would have liked to have sewn changed is considering the weather the show could have been altered a little. I felt that the gaps between the acts with the DJ could have been shortened to take into consideration the fact we were standing in horrific rain. The music was amazing.

Needed a lot more seating as it rained practically the whole time. People had to sit on the grass in the pop palace. Wine should be served by the glass. Not everyone can afford £35 for a bottle.
Red stripe is a cheap larger would have been nice to have a choice when you’re paying £6:50 a can.
Would have been nice if there was speakers in our tent as we couldn’t hear any music where we were!!!!
I think considering the forecast the night should of been cancelled. A lot of people didn’t come. And many family’s and people left early as they were soaked though!!!

Review of Sam Ryder Live at Singleton Park, Swansea
Great time , weather was pants unfortunately, but Sam got everybody’s spirits up
Only downside for us was having to be there two hours before main act , and as weather was so appalling it wasn’t an enjoyable wait !! Felt sorry for families with small children trying to keep them occupied

Review of Sam Ryder Live at Singleton Park, Swansea
Went as a family, 2 younger children in tow. Very efficient, helpful and friendly staff at the gates.
Was expecting the grounds to be bigger, don’t know why. Not so much for children to do while waiting for the bands and maybe a little bit more shelter would have been good as it was torrential! Overall view was really good, we chose to go on a hill so could see everything, plenty of space where we were. Food nice but really pricey but that’s what it is these days, didn’t have to wait long for queues for food, drink, ice cream or toilets. Toilets were getting replenished with toilet roll etc throughout and staff directing to empty toilets which was helpful especially with children.
Lovely atmosphere, we all really enjoyed even in the wind and rain. Thank you 😊
