Review of Jazz On The Plaza

There are many unique things about this venue. The concept is to provide a concert class grand piano ( in this case a Fazioli - the Italian competitor to Steinway) in a small cafe seating 25 people. The audience can experience the music close up without any amplification. Every month Terence Collie demonstrates the qualities of the Fazioli and features a different soloist. Last night it was Matt Dibble on clarinet and saxophone spicing up the jazz repertoire with original tunes from their recent CD .

The tickets are £10. Food is available including Japanese dishes but you can just sit with a drink or snack if you want. Alcohol is not served but you can bring your own bottle of wine.
