Review of Crooked House In The Park 2024
Having been last year, which was amazing, we bought tickets early hoping for another great festival but however this year was awful. Your only saving grace was the djs they were great, with great sets. Open at 11am, No, gates opened 12:05pm. So disorganised. Major problems with prepaid wrist bands. Didn't get the 10% extra as advertised. We split the wrist bands but all the money was loaded onto one band, even though we had 2 separate QR codes. A lot of the staff were rude saying it was our fault yet clearly we had two physical QR codes. Then later on, took over a hour to queue to top them up. There were no signs at the queues, so people who had prepaid were told to get to the back of the next queue. And vice versa. There was dog poo in the main arena. There was rubbish and food everywhere in the main arena. The toilets in the VIP arena were horrendous at approx 1pm, it was like they'd been there a week. The tables in the VIP area were stacked with empties. The smell of w**d in the whole arena was bad. No point in having security when people were walking around smoking spliffs and taking drugs. Watching staff still moving fencing around and setting up 3 hours in, is not a good look. Needs some serious changes if your gonna get it back upto scratch next year!!!

My third year here and it wasn't what it has been in the past. Preloading money to spend on a wristband to speed things up did exactly the opposite. Took over two hour because of the long queues only hindered by the lack of staff, to do this. Then once done you had to que in another line to get a drink.
There was only two disabled toilets which were absolutely disgusting, blocked and over flowing. The other toilets had no toilet rolls or hand sanitiser.
Low stepper didn't play his usual style of music, it was very commercial and was like being back in the nineties.
Hannah Wants struggled with the crowd, as the crowd seemed to want the older stuff playing like Low Stepper.
Our group left early, like many other people did. We were all very disappointed this year. We paid a premium price for second class acts.

I loved it last year 2023... but something was lacking for me this year.... the vibe was a little off and it was so annoying having to que so long to get the pre online money put on to the wrist band. Staff were understandably stressed out and I think the Wi-Fi kept going down... they tried their best but I know they were having alot of hassle from the public.
Garage tent was the best... food prices were fair to be honest had a couple of shots they seemed watered down !!
Not sure if I would go next year better festival events in Brum like Luna Springs etc.

The music was great, but the facilities were really bad. There weren't enough toilets and they weren't cleaned at all, not was the toilet roll replenished.
There was no free drinking water on site despite it saying there would be. This is illegal.

Good experience but what spoilt it was the disorganisation and this daft topping up a wristband to go to the Bars. Good Idea, Executed poorly! They should have just kept it to card only or card and wristband. I hope this review is seen by the promoter and they listen for next year

Top drawer as always! Great to be part of the team!
Great line up, huge production, quality delivery, great traders and service on site!
There is no other event in the surrounding area that will compete with what the guys are delivering!

Review of Crooked House In The Park 2024
VIP is as pointless, question longer than standard tickets, had to Que for ages for pre paid drinks but could not use £150 because the signal was so poor, and those who managed to access their QR codes got to the bar to find no credit so had to go back and wait further 45 minutes to sort it out. Very disorganised and there was no signs which confused people queuing. Disappointed and feel out of pocket.
