Review of Oktoberfest at Walton Hall & Gardens - SATURDAY 5th OCTOBER

Not a 7 piece oompah band. It was a 5 piece jazz band if anything. The venue was good and had the potential to provide a fantastic atmosphere but the music just didn't reflect an Oktoberfest event. Beer and food was good and the staff were fine. The only other problem is that they haven't refunded anyone's deposits for the steins. The take a £10 deposit for each one and haven't refunded anyone's deposits so far.

First time at an Oktoberfest and I absolutely loved it. The venue, the atmosphere and the sausages were fantastic. Loved every minute.x. Thank you Walton Hall Gardens! x

The band didn't even look like an umphar band .No engagement with the audience it was a good job the audience entertained themselves but must say the stilt walkers and bar staff were excellent

Disappointed as it was basically some tables laid out and two girls wandering around on stilts. The oompa band was just a brass band playing covers of pop songs. Only a choice of two beers which were being underserved. Food was okay. So not sure what we got for our 15 pounds.

Unfortunately it was poorly attended and lacked energy and little Bavarian atomsphere. The room was echoey ( due to low numbers ) and the music therefore was far too loud and seemed to bounce off every surface. The musicians were good however they didn't need to play into microphones.
Only one street vendor option so if you didn't like sausage you were going hungry. Thought there may have been more staff dressed up for the occasion for more of a Bavarian feel. We arrived shortly after 6 but left around 8.30/9. Wouldn't rush back next year .

There was hardly anyone there , no atmosphere. Music too loud .
But food and beer great

Review of Scaresbury - Boutique Halloween Party

Very disappointed with the setup for this event:
Music wasn't as good as the summer festival so i think it will need much improvement if i was to attend this year.
Toilets were outside portacabins in the courtyard that you had to walk through mud to get to, same with the seating area which was in a gazebo which was freezing.
Food was available but just one mobile food wagon, again in the courtyard . Not ideal at this time of year, especially for ladies in heels!

Venue could be great, just wasn't for this event and went home early.
