Review of Oktoberfest - Wolverhampton
Great night at Oktoberfest on Saturday, fantastic atmosphere and lots of fun. Some negatives however, considering it was a German beer festival they ran out of 2 pint steins very early in the evening, yet there was full table full of them at the front entrance for the VIP tables. Also lots of issues with drinks being ordered to the table, ended up in some very heated discussions regarding wrong orders and those serving us refusing to bring drinks to us we had clearly paid for and showed them the proof of!

Total ripoff!! We paid £30.80 for VIP TICK*TS! Do not bother, on the tick*t it said included two beer stein, you would think this is 2beers but it's only a glass. The drinks were £14 each rip off! Band and games were terrible!! Total ripoff

Not what was advertised no German food or drink only the usual food and drink the band was good but other than that miss sold totally not impressed with VIP either no one even checked how many was in our group and everyone had the same glasses we apparently paid extra for no one was checking tick*ts no organisation at all

Absolute Mickey take ..
total disorganisation on entry with obviously understaffing.
The VIP tickets worded as Free 2 Pint Beer Stein ..
And that was literally it .. a Plastic Glass …. Everyone else in the que duped by this also as they were all under the impression it was 2 pints in a beer stein ..
Prices were absolutely overpriced!! £6.50 for a can of beer!!! I mean come on .. we don’t expect you not to make a profit but at £6:50 a can .. a bottle of Blossom Hill wine 70cl. £25!!!
I mean I’m not in a fancy hotel
Or ski resort .. it’s a disused factory!!!
I don’t mind paying for stuff but was just a total mickey take in terms of pricing ..
Band was ok have seen alot better .. table service was just awful waited over an hour !!! Wa quicker
To wait in the 30minute que in the bar ..
Would I go again or would I recommend… sadly no ..

No evening starts well when the proverbial wool it pulled over your eyes! By that I mean, the VIP tick*ts we purchased included a 2 pint beer stein, but that's exactly what it was, a glass! No contents! And in the que to get the glass there wasn't 1 single person that thought they had paid an extra tenner for a plastic glass! We all expected beer in the thing! So what was VIP then? Oh, a QR code on the table for service to the table that didn't work! It took our money but nothing turned up so got a refund eventually for that! Nothing really wrong with the band but I would suggest they spend a night watching other umpah bands to get how it should and could be improved!
Overall it was extremely poor with overpriced drinks and devious use of the English language to con people. Whoever is in charge, after you've finished counting your coffers, give your head a wobble!

Review of Jungle Gathering
This is the first jungle event me and my bf had been to in 18 years and it did not disappoint!!! Prices were reasonable, music and djs were banging! I did enquire if there was going to be a cloakroom, was told there would be and there wasnt. Also, no seats. People were sitting on the floor outside! My suggestion would be more seats and more bins. Other than that we had a really good night out!
