Me and my friends were so excited to go to this event but when we got there the security guy was so rude and kicked out 2 of my friends that are of colour and let the rest of us go through. we had to ask multiple times for them to let us back in and when we got in there the music was so repetitive.

FALSE ADVERTISING! Our group paid £13 extra pp for supposed VIP tick*ts. This included a beer stein - no actual beer, just the plastic glass for £13! Every single person with a VIP tick*t believed they were getting a drink included in their tick*t, which led to many heated discussion with the poor bar staff. The event advert promised "traditional German food, including bratwurst, curry wurst, chicken schnitzel and fried potatoes". More lies, as the menu actually contained frankfurter (the tinned variety), chips, beef burger and chicken burger. Several members of our group ordered food and drink to the tables that never arrived (another false perk of VIP tick*ts). After standing in a 45 minute queue to complain and get what we ordered we missed half the first set of the band. £6 for a can of beer, and £13 for a stein was disappointing, and the only decent beer (madri) was sold out by 8.30pm. The band were ok and the only thing vaguely related to octoberfest, but they didn't start until after 9pm and finished at 11pm. There were many complaints going on, so we weren't the only ones disappointed, it could have been great but was sadly a let down.

After a lengthy wait in the queue to get in was told could not get a stein glass as did not have VIP tick*ts so had to drink canned lager from a plastic glass. Also ordered food (£22) that did not arrive and when I enquired the staff told me that they had lost control of the kitchen and there was not Manager in so nothing could be done so lost the cost for food. Shortly after we left as could not hear the band properly due to the echo of the venue. Very disappointed and will not be going back.

Needless to say, I will not be the only person with this review. I bought the VIP package as it came with guaranteed seating and a 2 pint stein of beer per person. Upon arrival, we were all given a 2 pint plastic cup shaped like a stein glass. After queuing for 30 mins in a queue of only c.20 people, we were told we didn't get any beer for the VIP tick*t but just the cup. The reason why the wait was so long was because every single person was confused and angry at being told of the false advertising. Multiple people arguing with management over the mis-selling on the VIP tick*t proving the reasonable expectations from what was purchased. It put a huge downer on the start of the night and left many people angry and disappointed. I took the decision to buy us all a stein (£13 each!) to try to change the mood. With regards to the "guaranteed seating" you got as VIP - everyone had seating, so again felt we had been led down the garden path with a pointless selling point. Would not recommend this event (at least the apparent VIP tick*t) and will certainly be making an official complaint to the organisers.

Not really much linked to Oktoberfest expect for a band playing music.
Beer was served in cans, steins were a rip off.
You could of gone anywhere for the same experience.
I went to a bar in the town the week before with the same feel and that was free to enter with better beer.
Atmosphere was good though.
Would I go again? Probably not.

The venue was freezing.
The band wasn't an umpah band. They played Sweet Caroline 4 times. As much as I like the song it wears thin. Should have finished at 12 midnight. It finished at 11pm. Really disappointing.

AWFUL, DO NOT waste your money!! Before we even got to the front of the queue to get in people inside were kicking off,coming to shout at the woman on the door about false advertising!!
Ordered drinks from the app as stated at the table,after 40!! Min still hadn't got them. Tried speaking to a waiter who completely ignored us and walked off. Went to the bar, and there were that many people in the same situation we had to wait a further 50 minutes to speak to someone and get our drinks!!(Strangely, in all this time waiters were walking around the room serving other people!)
By the time we got back to the table we'd missed the first set of the oompah band. When they were on for a second set the standard wasn't good, couldn't understand what they were saying.
The room was freezing cold,not helped by the door to outside where people went out to smoke was pretty much constantly open, leaving us in a cold draft.
That door shouldn't be accessible when people are sat right by it, there were enough security to monitor smokers going in and out the front door to smoke instead.
It stank of w**d too.
We want a refund.

Attended a few years ago and it was a great night. Really disappointing this time. £6 for a CAN of beer. About 5 items on the food menu, heard Mr. Brightside 3 times in the 2.5 hours I stuck it out. I can't speak for all the security staff but the man who checked me was quite rude. I'll not be going again

Not as good as previous years, repetitive music. No crowd involvement. Difficult getting a stein, had to purchase cans instead which were expensive. Very cold inside the hangar. No zero beers on offer for non drinkers.
