A new festival heads to Leeds in 2026.

Leeds is set to host a new festival over in Roundhay Park. Set up by the team behind BST Hyde Park, in collaboration with Leeds City Council, they will be naming the first headliner soon.

Roundhay Festival have promised to deliver some of the biggest names in the world, this announcement will likely lead to speculation about who will be on the festival's lineup. It isn't the first time the park has been used for live music, as it has hosted gigs featuring U2, Madonna and The Rolling Stones in the past.
On the new festival, Leeds City Council Leader James Lewis said, “Roundhay Festival will act as a wonderful showcase for our city, raising its profile with national and international audiences while delivering an important boost to the local economy. I’m sure music fans, not just in Leeds but across the region and beyond, will agree with me when I say ‘roll on next summer’.”
