Review of Moon Duo
Moon Duo are a great live act. Always play interesting gigs and venues. This time was especially awesome as the visuals were probably the best of any live act I've ever seen (and I'm an salty old dawg). The band were encased n a mesh 'cage' through which, and onto were projected amazing graphics. Music melded with the visuals perfectly, Ripley was on top form with his guitar playing. If you've seen Wooden Shjips live, then you pretty much know what you're in for. Laid back psch guitar vibes, with variations on pounding repetition and super electronic sounds, which combine to give a super psyched aural trip. Final encore was a brain meltingly good cover of Suicide's 'Jukebox Baby' . Would deffo go see again , but then again, having seen them numerous times already, I'm, biased.
