I really wanted to love this but the music was mostly cheesy 80s pop. There were a few old school house bangers about halfway and then back to rubbish that was bad enough the first time around. Please please can we try again with proper dance music. I still love the idea and affordability and Vicky Maclure.

Overcrowded venue and poor bar, pretty overpriced (£4 for water). Music more suited to hen party. Had been looking forward to it as a great concept but perhaps a bigger club and different DJ would improve it. Not for me a second time but pleased it was a success, thanks for bringing to Brighton Vicky!

The event I itself is wonderful, but wonder about a bigger cleaner venue. Poor coat and bar service. The music could have been more varied too over those years for our ages. Otherwise great cause and a big heads up for Vicki for this great idea. It’s catching on so bigger venues would be fab. Did not like dancing on a wet floor and plastic glasses under my feet.

Everyone who goes to this wants to basically rave their backsides off. The music was more school disco or wedding than anything else. Need loads more 90s and 2000 bangers played, House and Garage tracks wouldn't amiss. There were a few Choons played and the place went to another level for a few minutes but afterwards Tom Jones was played which took it down again and just started a karaoke. The ever talking DJ should have picked up on this and played more banging Choons, it's what everyone really wanted, to basically let rip and do what we don't get a chance to do anymore. You can't really do that to Car Wash, Abba or Shalamar.
The DJ needed help to play the music at one point and it went a little quiet, mixing skills weren't really there! 😂 Didn't use the cloakroom, toilets were mixed which was interesting. Bar service was very good, prices were at club levels for sure. Would in time go again, but the music really needs tweaking to suit the age range who really want to rave. I can see why people were leaving at 6pm when it didn't finish till 8pm as the music changed to more school disco which was a shame. Brighton really doesn't do cheese, it bangs and it bangs big time.

Great atmosphere, people seemed to really be enjoying themselves however the venue let the party down - queues were pretty long at the bar with two bars i visited with only 1 bar staff each - not great for a crowd of thirsty 40 somethings. There was no prosecco by the glass and the barman told me 'the wine they has was s**t' and not to buy it so i felt they didn't really cater for us. £15 for a small can of beer and a rum/c**e was a bit pricey too.

I kept my coat with me as the queue snaked up to the dancefloor and people i spoke to had already waited 20 minutes. The toilets were interesting - unisex -I'm fine with this, but the older demographic we spoke to didn't like it one bit - This could have been made clearer before attending just so people knew what to expect.
Sound system wasn't great and felt like it struggled which was a shame also.
Overall the party is fantastic, offering people the chance to let their hair down and dance - some hadn't been out for 20 years so were loving it! If the venue had been better equipped I'd go back however won't be returning here.

Nice crowd, but more of an over-50s event than an over-30s. I appreciate that it's hard to get the mix of music right, but I was really disappointed by the (small) number of 90s/00s pop hits (likewise, my partner was expecting more indie). Given that there were two rooms, they seemed to have the same music (albeit offset by a song or two), which was a missed opportunity. The venue itself was small and the toilets were a bit manky, with doors that didn't shut properly - weird, given that the club's website suggests it's newly renovated. We wouldn't go again - a real shame, as I love the concept.
