Review of Rum and Coke 03/08/24
Music was great (rnb, hip hop, reggae) but crowd was not. The venue had the stickiest floors I've ever experienced. The tickets were cheap but you get what you pay for, the crowd was dodgy and our girl group constantly got harassed by men. Security were good to throw people out after complaints, but just meant that we couldn't properly relax and enjoy ourselves when so many sleazy men around.

Review of GIMME GIMME GIMME! The ABBA Inspired Summer Beach Terrace Party!
Only played 4 abba songs. According to the program advertised they should have been at least 15 songs. Hoping we could sing and dance along with the tunes. The other music (noise)they played was so loud. The terrace was sold as roof top but outside that everyone could walk into. The didn't start till late as they were waiting for more people to arrive. They were trying to encourage outsiders to come in for free. BUT WE PAYED A LOTOF MONEY FOR ARE TICKETS.. venue was dark and dingy and smelt of w**d. There was only about 20 people in the venue. Outside on the terrace were people throwing beer as they were dancing. Why was we asked for I D as we had tickets. A couple of my friends had no ID . Nothing said for ID on the advert. Refund wanted

Review of Summer Oldskool Garage Beach Rave - Brighton
Only wouldn't recommend as it is advertised as a Beach Rave but is not on a beach, yes you can see the beach but cannot even take a drink with a plastic cup out. Great fun but look elsewhere if it is an actual 'Beach' rave you are after

Review of Summer Oldskool Garage Beach Rave - Brighton
Just thought Oldskool would mean they play Oldskool tracks but only played a few. Staff were nice and friendly in venue but toilets were disgusting. Most doors didn't lock (mixed gender) so was not acceptable. Flooded floors, no toilet roll and some without toilet seats. People all dress nice had to use totally awful toilets. Won't be going back to Horizons night club again.

Review of Summer Oldskool Garage Beach Rave - Brighton
Extremely disappointed with this event. We spent a small fortune on transport, hotel, food and drink etc thinking this was a huge event 'on the beach'. Instead it was in a very average nightclub, the music was definitely not 'old school garage', no confetti cannons and definitely not 'on the beach', but rather 'next to the beach'. Do not waste your money, there are better ones available. Loos were also disgusting, wet and urine everywhere, loo roll all over stall floors rather than on holders, and hand dryers did not work, you are expected to pay lavatory attendants to dry your hands!

Review of Summer Oldskool Garage Beach Rave - Brighton
I was very disappointed with this event. It was advertised as a rave on the beach when in fact it was just a night club next to the beach. It was very dark and dingey, very small outside area. The music was okay but seemed to play on a loop, so we heard the same songs at least 3 times. Overall very disappointed.
