Great music and loved the club set up, including the VIP area. The staff were very friendly too, really enjoyed ending my stag do here!

Review of Horizon Club

Went to the horizon nightclub through summer solstice events yesterday! Firstly was expecting the ‘old school garage BEACH rave to be on the beach. The ‘what to expect’ literally says ‘on the beach’ and ‘rave in the sun’ I can assure you there was no sun inside the venue, that was once some of our group got in! We drove 5 hours for what we thought was a rave on the beach to be spoken down to shouted at and man handled by the aggressive door staff! The queues where an absolute joke as no one knew what they was doing outside! They refused entry to a group member as she had no physical ID but other people was being let in with the picture on the phone as she had! Seems like if your face don’t fit they don’t want to know! Other door staff and bar staff also commented on how they had several complaints about the 2 on the door and even offered to ‘sneak’ my friend in as they thought the door staff was unnecessarily aggressive! Once we got in to the night club it absolutely stunk of sweat and urine we was VIP all
That got you was being able to go upstairs where there was no toilets and 2 bar staff with a TINY bar and flat over priced drinks, that was once you managed to get one! The queue for the toilets was spiralling round the club and every single person we spoke to inside and outside the venue all
Said how they was mis sold the event as a party on the beach! We had one drink and left as the music was terrible you could hear 2 different songs playing at once, the whole thing was a shambles and a completely disappointing waste of money! Thank god for the the Tide nightclub next door! Amazing staff well priced drinks and fantastic DJ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY if we wanted a bog standard night club we could have travelled a lot closer! AVOID AVOID AVOID

The venue Horizon over sold the tickets. We were all crammed in on a hot day, no space to dance. We were told last entry was 7.30 but Martin didn't start till 9, we left soon after that as it was uncomfortable and noticed that others did the same. This night was aimed at 40's+ age group, the organisers didn't think this through. I am really surprised that it was allowed for health and safety, I thought if clubs did this they got closed down?

Great music with fun people. The venue spoilt the night - it lacked air, hot, was pretty grim and way too many tickets were sold for the size of the space and bar. There was little space to dance or even breathe! It was extremely uncomfortable and many people stayed outside in the smoking area as it was so awful inside (where the DJ set wasn't visible).

Too many tickets were sold. I went there to dance and could hardly move at points. My friend and I lasted 1.5 hours. Great tunes, but I wouldn't go again.

Great fun, great music and vibe, mix of ages and fancy dress. I have been to this set a few times before and was grear it was just too many people, you couldn't move anywhere or get to the bar or toilet without pushing through the crowd.

Dirty filthy venue., Horizon Brighton, toilets horrendous. Organisers- demand more from clubs, otherwise they never learn. Atmosphere great, MK music and entertainment fun fun fun. The event however felt oversubscribed as not able to dance as all elbow to elbow.

We booked VIP and booth lol what a joke. The booth was tiny, people kept walking through it, getting arsy with us and throwing drinks. We paid £300 for that booth with alcohol but we did not get much for our money at all.
The toilets were dirty and gross even though 2 members of staff were in there doing nothing. The whole club is s**t and run down. The staff were OK but did not look like they knew what they were doing.

Nearly every one attending was over 50 but they were ID checking and the q took ages . Tiny dance door. Had to enter before 7. Martin Kemp arrive at 9. Left early
