Review of Retro In The Park 2022
Was a good event but the queing time for the bar was ridiculous as were the drinks prices I would recommend a separate bar that just sells water for future events to reduce the queues.

Review of Retro In The Park 2022
This years was event was promoted as bigger and better than last year. Fantastic event but sorry, last year was bigger and better. Over an hour queueing for a warm 400ml lager at £6 made it almost impossible to spend your non refundable beer tokens. Event promoters are just being greedy. Only 2 bars this year where last year there were 3. And the advertised free water stations simply did not exist, which on a warm day with people dancing and drinking was IMO dangerous. Don't get me wrong, we had a fantastic day, made better by the company of fellow retro festival goers, and will be going again next year without a doubt. Food stalls were reasonably priced with pizzas for £10.

Vip tickets not worth the money as it closed early and was under staffed with long ques for drinks.also ran out of cans. VIP toilets were no upgrade. Couldn't use tokens and card combined to do a purchase. £6 a can is a rip off

Review of Retro In The Park 2022
Unfortunately had to leave early and a first for me at a festival. No big top tents like year before. The sound was clashing with the other stages. The sound quality was also poor. Queues for bars was terrible so had 2 drinks all day. Heard the Queues at VIP tent was the same. Then it was £6 a can when you did eventually get a drink. Ended up leaving at 6pm and going to a better event.

Badly put together. Venue too small for the stages to be that close. No tents as advertised. No water refill points as advertised. Water £3.50 a can and it was basically bottled tap water. Queue’s for the bar took an hour to get served. Overpriced and stoned bar staff… who opened cans so buying in bulk to beat the queue meant u split it by the time u got back. And the toilets well…. Conditions for animals are probably better. No toilet roll in all my visits. Not attended… a festival for the older generation with no loo roll come on it’s a disgrace. Toilets had turds on the floor… so no one maintaining them or topping up loo roll. And the music was fairly w**k to be honest…. Retro my a**e.Not enough thought went into this festival.

It would help if there were seperate bars for those just wanting cans. And mixing up tokens and contactless payment methods this year really created havoc at the bar!
You should have kept it as tokens only.

One hour queue for the bar is unacceptable.
Could not get a soft drink or water from the food vendors, you could only purchase from the bar.
Spent 2 hours in queues - spoilt the event for our group, we left early and won’t be back, which is a shame as this was our 10th Retro event.
