Review of Depot in the Castle W/ Clean Bandit & Tom Odell
Spent most of the day queuing either for drinks at the bar or for food... I don’t mind waiting 30-40 minutes to get served but 60-90 minutes was unacceptable for any event and these were the typical times spent... having VIP tickets didn’t make any difference as the bar was smaller and not as well staffed so waiting times remained long... I don’t blame the staff they were working hard but the event was badly organised I felt sorry for them...
With so many people queuing for various things at the same time it drew the attention away from the music on the stage which affected the atmosphere... clean bandit are a chart topping band but I don’t think they’ll be coming back and I don’t blame them...
I should have gone to watch Tom Jones instead for the £60 price tag...

Great venue, atmosphere & had fun... real downsides were the Food venues ran out of food and drinks line was usually 45 mins to an hour .. so that was a real downside even if you split cold drinks from alcoholic drinks that would have helped.. maybe one for next time.. as usually at events the food sellers can at least sell cold drinks.. I would go again though ..

Such an amazing day! The food was to die for and the music was amazing! Drinks a little pricey and I think with the amount of people there should have been a second bar however that didn’t ruin the day! The view of Cardiff castle just topped it all off! Definitely will go next year!

Queues were far too long for drinks. Up to 2 hrs in some cases. Bigger tent more staff. Perhaps have a voucher system for drinks to make
It quicker. Took the shine off the day. This works for Glastonbarry at Romilly Park. Very little queuing Just a thought. Quite a lot of kids too.

Went this year and last year - more acts last year, less people, less time waiting at bars, toilets and food stalls! Enjoyed this year but come on guys sort out the waiting times!! Took ages to do anything! 40minutes at the bar is rubbish especially if you then have to spend another 20 minutes waiting for the loo!

Very poor organisation, definitely no thought went into provision for families with children. Under staffed, queues were ridiculous. Expecting children to wait an hour to have their basic needs met ( food, soft drinks and toilet ) is beyond a joke. It would have helped had we been allowed to bring in our own snacks and drinks for the children.

Event was very poorly organised, had to queue an hour at the bar for a drink each time and prices were very expensive. Music was brilliant but would not go again
