Lovely day, catered well for children which I didn’t expect. Quality of food was outstanding. Drinks were highly priced but on par with similar events. Thought the reusable cups were a really good idea.

Bar situation was shocking. No system in VIP area, slow service. This resulted in queuing for over 45 minutes, with everyone pushing and shoving to get served. Would have been more beneficial to have had a post office queue system then everyone would have been served in order.

Queues for food and drink were rediculous. Even with VIP we queued for 1 hour for the bar. VIP toilets were filthy and kids activities disappointing. Far too much alcohol for what was advertised as a family event.

Having paid extra for VIP tickets to have access to a bar I would not expect to have to wait 40 minutes for a drink. 3 people behind a bar was just dumb! Definitely needs sorting for next year

Fantasic first festival experience for our kids - superb kids area and entertainment. Loved Clean Bandit, felt very safe taking our kids up close to the stage. Excellent choice of food - something for everyone. Only downside was the crazy queues for food and bar as the day / evening progressed. The reusable cups and water station were a brilliant idea - saving waste and ensuring we could keep the children well hydrated. We're looking forward to next year already - thank you Depot for a fun and memorable family day out.

Great venue and location. The music could have been better, Circa Waves and Tom Odell were great but you can’t headline with Clean Bandit!
The queues for the bar were ridiculously long, we missed half of Circa Waves because we tried to get a drink and ended up queueing for 40minutes!!! At £5 a pint I shouldn’t have to wait longer than a 5 minutes!
Overall disappointed, I don’t feel it was worth £47 a ticket on top of the steep bar prices. I feel the festival has good potential but won’t be back until the issues are seen too.

Food and drink expensive. Queued over an hour for a burger. Queuing 45 mins for a drink. Queued 30 mins for toilet. Not enough drink and food stalls - many food stalls closed at 7.30/8 as food ran out. Should be allowed to bring in sealed food and drink as expensive for a family event and children hate queues - causes stress for parents. Clean Bandit v.good.

Absolutely fabulous day the sun shine came out and the surrounding were beautiful Cardiff castle is the perfect place for a venue . Loved the fact you didn't have to queue when we got there at 12pm , drinks and food was a really good price and lots of choices. Clean bandit were brilliant real got the crowd going and the atmosphere was great . I only have one issue ... I decided to take a photo of our group when we got in obviously to show where we were and our beautiful surroundings with my selfie stick and after I took the photo a member off staff came up and told me to put the selfie stick away as it was not allowed so I asked why and he said just in case I hit someone with it !!! Now even though I'm 49 years old and not 4 I think I know how to handle a selfie stick ... so I informed him that it did not say anything on the website about not being allowed selfie sticks only food and alcohol were not allowed and if this was the true case then it should state on there in future. It did not spoil my day but I thought it was taking health and safety a bit to far and just have some common sense!!!

Way too many tickets sold for venue size. Unable to buy drinks as queues far to long and uncontrolled in VIP area. Very, very poor event. I would like a refund!

Great event at a fabulous venue, weather obviously helped. Only criticism was re VIP area :
- expected to be a little nearer to the stage
- bar was understaffed for the length of the bar. there was no queue system and due to the very long wait, most people were ordering multiple rounds which only compounded the situation. A queue system might have helped or just a smaller bar front so that there is less of a bun fight to get served. Staff did really well in the circumstances, having to deal with many disgruntled customers and in one case that we saw, someone ordering then disappearing into the crowd without paying.

The queues at the bars need to be sorted an hour to get a drink at such a small event is unacceptable..even in the VIP area queues were 45 mins... nothing vip about the experience...no running water or hand sanitizer, venue hnd only been open 90mins.
Acts were coming on earlier thann advertised.
Whole event was disappointing

Queues for food and drink were ridiculous, also very expensive. Paid extra for VIP tickets, did not feel that it was worth the extra as bar was small and took ages to be served. No itenary for bands, music started earlier than quoted on website.
