Queues for bar food absolutely horrific. Waiting 45 minutes+ to get a drink then same again to get food. Food stalls selling out before 6pm. Not well organised. Difficult to navigate through the crowds as no clear path segregation was made by security staff. I saw people who had gone early with buggies pushchairs etc... all struggling to get out through the crowds.

Not enough food and drink outlets. Waited over 45 minutes for a burger, 40 minutes for drinks. Food ran out towards the end of the evening. Waited for 30 minutes for face paint, paid and ended up leaving the queue. Too many people for the venue size. This was disappointing. Ended up spending a lot of time away from the group we went with due to this.

Great musicians , but your published times for artists were wrong you started circa waves early and whole festival finished an hour earlier than stated leaving us with an hour to spare before our arranged home travel . The queues for food and bar were horrendous 2 hours and most u nfair as you had us a captive audience no food allowed to be brought in and not allowed to leave after 7 . Clean bandit were awesome but the rest of the festival left a lot to be desired not sure if I’d go again

Very good apart from Queues for bar were ridiculous I had 200 people in front of me on the barrier system . Some food outlets ran out early . Great venue and would go again

Overall fantastic venue and location.
Bar was not big enough, queued for 50mins for a drink.
Food vendors and selection was excellent.
Not enough water refill stations and possibly a fountain so that it reduces the plastic even more.

Very poorly run. Worst event I have ever been to. Had VIP tickets for a small area with a bar that was extremely short staffed. Waited over 20 minutes each time for a drink. The main bar was even worse. One food van I waited at for 30 minutes then it ran out of food then the next one after another 30 minutes still had another 15mins at least. Left hungry and sober missing half the event

Disappointing that in the kids zone the vendor was unable to sell us some cans of pop for the kids. If it’s marketed as a family/child friendly event, please don’t make parents queue in the main part which I guess is mainly for alcohol. Also queues ridiculously long to buy drinks/food generally.

we loved the festival last year. last year the music was more up tempo and fun the queues fpr drinks only took 10-15 min max. This year and hour amd half wait for a poor selection of overpriced drinks and music that was too chilled for a summer festival vibe. extremely disappointed that the huge increase in numbers has ruined what was an amazing family event. Sadly we wont be returning next year.

This is the 2nd Depot in the castle that my family & I attended (2018 & 2019). Unfortunately we didnt enjoy 2019 as much. We felt that way too many people were crammed into the small space & it really spoilt our enjoyment being squished together like sardines when sitting standing or trying to move around the site. As a consequence queue’s for the bar, food vendors were much longer too.
Pro’s:
•DJ’s much better 2019
•Better location & increased no. of toilets
•Wider selection of food
Cons:
•Too many people, not enough room to move
•Pointless vip area taking up uneccessary space
This is a great idea, however its apparent that this event attracts two very different demographics. The families & the students/partiers. I’d like to see two events per year... one geared towards families, which is a safer environment for kids & families to enjoy with more space to roam & play and a separate one geared towards adults only.
