Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
Well, I'll start with the good. All the tribute bands were excellent, much better than anticipated, so well done as I enjoyed them all.
Now to rest of my review. Dreadful decision to move the festival from the race course to Bitts Park with no explanation as to why that was. I purchased 6 VIP tickets which gave us covered seats and a good view of the acts. What we got was a dreadful view of the stage, no seating and no covered area. It stated that we were not allowed to bring our own chairs, I we were dismayed to see the other festival goers bringing in chairs. I was told there was an email sent the day before, which I did not receive, saying chairs were now allowed. We traveled from Lincoln to Carlisle for the festival and guess where our chairs were, yep, Lincoln. Fat lot of good to us. No to the drinks. The gin was not Bombay Sapphire and the measures were short. The gin was already in the b**kers not poured out in front of the customer, open to abuse. The prices for all the inferior liquor were a joke. Except it wasn't a joke and it wasn't funny. How could you justify selling a bottle of Bombay Sapphire for £140.00?
The staff were openly drinking alcohol behind thethe bar, most unprofessional.
The poor quality food on offer was overpriced.
The toilets ran out of water, soap and towels by 3.00pm, disgraceful.
Then at about 9.00pm the bar ran out of inferior everything.
The VIP enclosure was a cage with the worst view of the stage.
The organisers should be ashamed of themselves. I will not attend any event organised by yourselves again. I am sure you will be aware of the complaints in the local press and on social media.
I guess you are laughing all the way to bank. You have burned your bridges with the people you scammed at that event and we will never use Skiddle again.
You are nothing but charlatans and theives of the worst kind.

After paying for a VIP ticket, immediately the bar had run out of drinks, it was correct cash only. The VIP toilets were filthy from the minute the site opened and no toilet paper. VIP area was set at the side of the stage watching it through mesh panels and not seeing it head on. Very very poor event and far from VIP

We have been going to the fake festival for the last few years and enjoy them but the lookalike was better no stuffy marquee, brilliant atmosphere and didn't que for the toilet more than a couple of minutes and they where clean even at the end.
