Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
Poorly detailed prices, nowhere did I see that children were free so I bought a ticket for my 3 year old grandson, only to be told on the gate that kids are free.
Once in the venue you were not able to leave and come back in, which I thought a bit strange, as my grandson wanted to go on the play park close by, but we were told it had to be an urgent matter to let you leave and return!!
The price of the food was extortionate for what you got.
The acts, well some were ok some poor, not sure if it was their singing or the PA system, my money is on the former, but there was the odd good singer among them.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
The acts were great, but idly was disorganised. We paid for VIP tickets which had the worst view of the stage and we were segregated with Harris fencing, making the view of the stage through the fencing.
Drinks were between £7-£10 each with a bottle of Gordonâs pink gin selling for £140!!
By 7:30-8pm the had ran out of lager and cider! By 9pm there was nothing much left, to the point people left.
The toilets in the VIP area were a slight upgrade but the smell was unreal by teatime.
Overall the organisation was a huge shame, considering the same had happened the night before, you would think they would be prepared. A shame for the acts who were fab!

VIP was a joke, bar ran out of beer, and closed over an hour before the end ofthe event. There was no food offering within said VIP area, we had to watch the acts from behind a wire fence, or scoot round into general admission. Toilets had no water or no sanitiser as a stop gap, witnessed a gent on a walking stick who took one look at the accessible portaloo and decided to use the other ones. The event has the potential to be really good but the organisation was pitiful! Also the acts that were advertised were fiction!! Absolute let down to be honest!!

Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival - Carlisle!
I have never been so dissatisfied for an event I payed to attend. No 80s or 90s music was playing. Venue was tiny, a free funfare atleast often has some kind of shelter. This had nothing. No seating and not allowed to bring your own. Another attack on disabled people. People were hurded in like cattle unable to leave for any reason including medical. Which is discrimination. I have allergies, and considering no info was put out for exact location or parking. To be told if I go back to the car to get food I could eat that I could not reenter. Staff were uncaring and rude, Which tbh was the push I needed to leave. No one was dancing everyone looked bored music was terrible, food tasteless. This was nothing close to a rave it's an insult to describe it as such. I grew up in the 90s and was excited. What a massive let down.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
We booked when it was being held at Carlisle Race course VIP
We never got an explanation why it was moved to Bitts Park?
We asked for a refund because we had taken out the insurance but to no avail .
Two members of our group had disabilities which proved to be very difficult to manage.
The toilets were absolutely disgusting in the VIP area .
The acts took to long to get on and off stage this broke the atmosphere every change .
It was definitely overpriced & I really would like to know why the change of venue & were the organisers compensated for the change of venue or was it advertised & sold knowing it was never going to be held at the Racecourse. We requested this information under the FOI act but again no avail .
Why they offer insurance with no intention of following their own rule of refund is beyond me .
I feel from start to finish the event was wrongly advertised & totally misleading and over charged .
Over rated acts also .

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
Although the music was great, the vip section was atrocious. The toilets were a disgrace with no running water and boards were needed to get to said toilets as the field was boggy. The fact we paid more for vip was ridiculous as there was nothing apart from possible " nice" toilets. The price of your low grade alcohol was also ridiculous, people enjoy a drink at festivals and are prepared to pay for it but you could use the good stuff you'd still make a reasonable profit. So to finish off music and groups were great but the rest was rubbish. Won't be going again

Paid £6. For parking at iriginal venue which was subsequently changed. There was limited parking at new venue and I'm yet to receive a refund. The set up of the event could be better.
