Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival - Carlisle!
We enjoyed this event however there was definitely room for improvement. I think I counted 20 toilets in the main bit but it wasn't really enough, a queue for them every time. It was a 30-35 minute wait for a drink at the bar and whilst they did have lots of people working on the bar maybe another bar in the vicinity selling the same drinks would help. I enjoyed the music, however it got quite repetitive playing the same songs and wasn't really 90s, more 00s & 2010s with a few 90s songs thrown in. I thought there was a good choice of food though and the atmosphere was good.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
Far to expensive £10 for barcardi, and £8 for a bag of chips, and a lady with her four children couldn't afford the food decided to take her children to macdonalds and when she came back they wouldn't let her back in,absolutely disgraceful, we didn't buy a drink arrived there walked on and was absolutely disgusted with the price of everything absolute RIP OFF never again,we heard a lady asking those security men where she could complain and they were laughing at her, they were so ignorant it was unbelievable, waste of money abd time to get ripped off like that, people work hard for a living then you people rip them off

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
The bands were brilliant and the atmosphere was great. The actual venue was also very good but I would not recommend paying extra for VIP - small viewing to the side of the stage so limited view. Extra bar but the queue there was often twice as long as the main bars. The luxury toilets were good when they had running hot water and toilet rolls but this was very sporadic. The venue ran out of most drinks by 7pm which was 3 hours before if finished ! And the prices were ridiculously expensive - £140 for a bottle of vodka !
However that said it was a brilliant fun day maybe just plan it better . Definitely take a chair

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
Music was good but nowhere near the claims of the best tribute acts in the uk! Also too longer breaks between acts.
Venue was small and very disappointing also the fact you were unable to go out and come back in ( we needed to get our charging cable from the car and were told No, it was our fault as we forgot to pick it up). Toilets were not kept clean at all.
It's seemed pointless having paid for VIP as when getting in the queue was longer than the standard one and once in the area in was very small, yes it had a bar and toilets but the bar was out of stock of most things so you had to go to other bars (which also didn't have much stock at times).
Price of drinks were ok if you had cans £5 & £6 depending on what you had but otherwise expensive!
Food on the other hand was expensive and very small portions there was four of us and we spent over £100 just on food before drinks bearing in mind this was spread over 10 hours.
However the atmosphere was good other than a group arguing over other people sitting in front of them which security dealt with swiftly, but I guess it added to the entertainment
It was a good day but it could of been far better

I really enjoyed the event however the vip was definitely not worth the money. The area was too small for the amount of people, we didn't even get to sit/stand in there.
I feel we did not get the VIP that was advertised as the venue was changed after I bought tickets.

Unable to leave and come back which is inconvenient. Feel it's unreasonable to not be allowed to bring food and drink in as it was VERY expensive especially if you have a family

We got Vip tickets we queued longer than regular priced tickets they got in quicker.... Drink was cheaper in the non vip enclosure and we were looking at the side of the stage and could not see we went and sat in the regular field and David Bowie was not on

Overall we enjoyed the day. However the VIP experience was poor - longer queues at the bar and ladies toilets. But, the toilets weren't checked, so ran out of toilet paper often, and no running water for hand washing! I also understand that one of the Men's VIP toilets was filthy early on in the day and not cleaned.
Also, the bars ran out of beer, lager and cider when there was still 2 acts to play. You then ran out of tea and coffee!!
I will be writing to complain on these issues.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
I was extremely disappointed with the change of venue. I booked VIP tickets having used the VIP area at Carlisle racecourse on other occasions. The racecourse VIP area has an indoor section with seating, clean toilets, and being at the top of a grandstand, an improved view. The Bitts Park VIP area was completely different. The viewing area was not raised, was at one side of the stage so had a poor view if you were not amongst the first to arrive and settle down, was not indoors, the toilet facilities were not clean, the bar facilities were no better than the ones outside of the VIP area and sold out of the drink I wanted after my first purchase. In fact, the VIP area was so disappointing that we ended up spending our time in the normal area behind others with VIP wristbands on, so they likely had the same impression as us.
The communications were also extremely poor. The only comms I had were from Skiddle. I e-mailed Skiddle to ask about the VIP area I had already paid for based upon my knowing about the facilities at Carlisle racecourse, but did not receive a reply. I was unable to find contact details for the event itself.
People were arriving at the event with items they were not allowed to bring into the event likely partly because of the difficulties in finding out details of what was allowed.
I will say that the quality of the food was far better than other concerts I have been to, and the alcohol was kept cold.
Extremely disappointed in the VIP area and comms. Won't be booking again for any other events.

Very badly organised. The toilets were disgusting, ran out of paper all the time, no running water to wash hands( this was sorted later) blue water all over he floor never swept. The food prices were expensive but you do expect that but the alcohol was absolutely disgusting. £7 for vodka and c**e which was pored by hand, not a full measure, bottled c**e, cheap vodka. £25 for a bottle of wine. The music itself was very good, but the facilities were not up to standard, as you cannot take any food or drink into the event I do feel the drink prices, measures and quality need to be addressed.
