Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
Groups were all really good,
I paid for VIP tickets which felt were disappointing and not worth the extra money, as we had to que, we were unable to see the bands on the stage.
The bar ran out off gin & lemonade around 7:30/8 then all drink bar closed at around 8:30. An hour & half before the event finished.
Toilet cabin had no water and smelt bad.
Weather was kind to us.

I woukd recomend this event to a friend it was a good day however the vip section was not as glamourous as it was made out to be constant run out of toilet roll and soft drinks and alcohol and I understand food stalls have to make money but snacks or sweets should have been allowed espsially for people that are diabetic and have allergies and maybe can't eat anything

I could have had this for free in my hometown!
We paid for VIP tickets which included 'queue jumping', 'private bar' and 'VIP toilets'.
1. We queued to get in because it took 5 security guides to sort out a woman who couldn't part with her £1 impulse spray (no liquids inc perfume allowed). It appears the only 'queue jump' function was literally to jump the entrance queue which was none existence, after that it's tend for yourselves.
2. The private bar was tiny and had ran out of most drink before the event had barely began. Towards the last two hours of the night, the VIP bar had to shut due to no drink, yet the standard bar remained open. Also £26 for a dodgy bottle of wine or £6 for a can of hooch. It's a wonder they managed to run out of drink at those prices!
3. There was nothing VIP about the VIP toilets. Again very few so you had to queue. Parked right next to the bar so whilst queueing for the bar all you can smell is the stench from the toilets. I'm an avid festival goer and I don't mind a portaloo, but when paying extra, you expect something more extra than the same loos but in a cornered off section of a field.
The music was good and it was a nice, family friendly atmosphere. I wouldn't say the acts were brilliant, I have definitely seen better tribute acts. The title of the event 'look-alike' is very ironic, unless you haven't worn your glasses..
The VIP section was a fenced off section to the left, with a very poor view of the stage, that was mostly blocked by the fences. We left the VIP section to stand in the standing/dance area. Great views and enough room to have a boogie.
Overall I enjoyed the day, but I wouldn't come back. It felt like a free family day festival that I had paid for. I definitely wouldn't bother paying extra for VIP, there were no benefits whatsoever.

Great concert but bar prices were a rip off and they ran out of everything. Felt sorry for the bar staff! Great line up wouldn't pay VIP again total rip off worst seats in the house. If you paid for seats like that in a theatre would have been the cheapest seats.
