I felt the VIP experience really wasn't VIP at all the cost was 3 times the basic cost and I really can't see what I paid extra for .The toilets were awful no running water toilet roll constantly running out ,the bar ran out of every drink apart from whisky and tonic and blue WKD ! Oh and no chairs I had to contact friends to bring some as I couldn't have stood up for 10 hours .I really do think the VIP experience was oversold and under delivered .The saving grace was that the bands were really good .I would come again but wouldn't pay the VIP price as it really was no different

The acts were awful. The drinks were lacking in choice and overpriced. The fact that once you were in the venue you weren’t allowed to pop out and come back in again was unacceptable. It was not explained prior that this was the case

We enjoyed the festival, most bands were great, though some harmonies were a bit discordant. But it felt like being in a prison camp as we were not allowed to leave and re-enter, all the food outlets were overpriced and the bar ran out of beer. I tried to find a healthy/ vegetarian/ vegan option, but there was sadly a very poor choice. Everything was high fat, high carb, and very poor quality/ value for money.

We paid for VIP tickets and the VIP area was worse than the main area! The view of the stage was none existent and the toilets were disgusting! The bar ran out of lots of drinks very early on and prices were expensive!

It was not 90s rave, there was a lot of later music which was a disappointment. The bar queues were horrendous including in VIP

We bought VIP tickets as the venue was originally at the race course due to one of our party having health issues ... only to find the VIP section was to the side of the stage and caged in with no seats etc, this should of been right in front of the stage and a much bigger space than it was with seats !!!
The bar was an absolute rip off, they apparently ran out of drink due to the day before and closed earlier than the other bars. I'm sorry but these events happen all the time so surely the organisers should know how much drink to have. If it didn't all go it could surely be used at another festival.
The food vans were all outside of the VIP section, nothing inside.
The VIP section was a joke from start to finish

The music was good, the majority of the acts were fab (there was only one act that was of poor quality and sounding) , the rest had good amount of time on the stage and got the audience participating well, performed a good variety of songs from the artists they were representing. As for the venue, well where do I start! Originally it was booked for the racecourse so we booked vip tickets to get access to indoor bar and toilets then when it got moved to bitts Park we were a little confused to what standard the vip tickets would be given the venue, well let me tell you.. . For £88 (as we had the weekend pass for the event the day prior) you got 'luxury toilet block' which consisted of 'proper toilets' , these were stinking, wipe your feet on your way out more like, had no toilet roll and no running water so couldn't wash your hands! The bar ran out of drink and was shut by 8.30pm. Consisted of 4 tables and a couple of deck chairs and had railings around it to the side of the stage so you couldn't even see the stage, that was compacted that represented those of caged animals as probably the only way to have described it.

Our time was on the whole enjoyable...however you ran out of a lot of the drinks on offer leaving us with no drinks we liked or wanted...very very disappointing...this should not be happening with an experienced event company such as yourselves...also the selection of lager and beer was very poor even when it was available. Sadly we had one of our camping chairs stolen and although the fact that there was a thief there was beyond your control...I feel the security should have had a more visible presence and not just checking our bags for contraband food and drink...

Unfortunately this was not very well organised re th food and drink stalls , the food was OK but overpriced and the bar started to run out of stuff at 5pm even thought the event was on till 10pm .

No lager from 5pm then no wine no rum is ridiculous surely they do this type of event all the time and surely its better to over stock than under stock it really put a dampener on our evening as we were looking forward to having a drink and had paced ourselves so as not to over do it and spoil the day

Maybe in future the bar managers need to look at this as you weren't allowed to bring your own stuff in and then they run out at 5 .

Also if its a family event and your not allowed to bring food in then maybe have some sort off sweet stall for the kids

Hope this is a helpful review for the future and they must have lost out on thousands in revenue

This was not a 90's rave by any stretch of the imagination, it was too commercial and was stopping and starting way too much. One mc sounded like a karaoke and the music system had nowhere near enough bass.
The drink prices were ridiculously expensive and queues were nearly and hour (bar staff didn't appear to be in any rush whatsoever)
The food prices again were ridiculously expensive.
The whole day seemed to be about making as much money as they could and not in any way in line with what an actual "rave" is all about.
Very disappointing, I won't be back.

Tribute acts were fantastic.... But it was frustrating not knowing the times of each bands ahead of time, makes it difficult to plan your day.
Also, the bar ran out of beer at around 8pm which was really not good.

The music was great but the VIP bar ran out of drinks, lack of choice of drinks and was over priced, paid extra for VIP tickets for nothing so was dissapointed and left earlier than planned.

Most of the acts on the line up didn't even play very disappointing wouldn't have bought tickets if we knew there would only be a few if announced acts there

Absolutely brilliant weekend. Ticket were very reasonably priced, I understand prices are usually higher at these kind of venues but I think you should be able to either bring in food or be able to leave and come back in. It would have been nice to of known the line up for the tribute bands before hand. Will definitely come again next year if it happens in Carlisle again

Toilets ran out of toilet paper and not cleaned regularly.the bars even ran out of drink all of the bars need to be more organised

The day was great! Great music, great atmosphere. Had a blast. Only downside was the cost of the drink, so expensive! Queues were horrendous for the bars and the toilets. But worth it!
