This must be rated as one of the worst events I have ever been too. The Venue was shabby and run down, and as for an Ocktoberfest?!! where was the German Beer, German food, where was the German band, where was the atmosphere, singing & dancing??? I could go on - if this had been based in Germany there would have been a riot - this was just a glorified p-up!! - Whoever arranged this should be ashamed of themselves. A waste of time and money.

Awful, not as advertised..
No german beer, just generic lager.
No food, no explanation, so had to go hungry or leave early.
Band played music but cleary had never even sniffed an Octoberfest, never mind been to one.
OK if you're a student and just wanted to group singalong to the DJ.

By far the worst event I have ever been to. The beers were room temperature and £12 each for a stein. The room was dark, damp and smelly. There were people dancing on the tables and throwing beers into the crowd and shouting at each other. Security were useless. I wish I could give this 0 stars.

You would expect freshly brewed German lager, pretzels and a band playing good German oompah music wouldn't you? Well The Leamington Spa Oktoberfest was non of that. Carlsberg in cans poured into Steins isn't german lager (and £13 is ripoff territory), there was no food and the band were dressed like an oompah band but played instrumental versions of chart songs. Oh, and security kept asking folk to stop dancing on the tables. Isn't that the point of an Oktoberfest?

Advertised: German Beers + Steins! Oompah Bands + Performers! Bavarian Trestle Tables + Benches! German Pretzels + Bratwursts! Complete Oktoberfest Venue Transformation
What we actually got:
1 German watered down beer, Bavarian Trestle tables and benches, band played for 20 mins.
Will definitely not be going to any of these events again.

This was very disappointing, the event was advertised food and German beer. The beer was terrible and £12 a Stein, the other choice was a can of Red Stripe or Carlsberg so not at all German beer. There was no food, band was good but it was mostly drunk students falling of tables. Not oktoberfest at all.

The only reason I gave 1 star is, that the time I booked had to be cancelled for some reason... day before the even. I have spent money on a costume that I was gonna wear to my very 1st oktoberfest ever. And then that I received this email to review the even is a bit disappointing as I did not even go and asked for refund... so not sure why I had the email for review...
