Firstly, social eats events made last minute changes to put everything on to the car park as the fields was too wet, I appreciate that there's nothing nobody can do about weather but to make changes at the very last minute (a few hours before the event was ment to start) is appalling! So everyone was advised to get a lift or a taxi, resulting in alot of people needing to sell their tickets. The response from social eats fb page was shocking! They wasn't responding to people's questions about the changes, ie disabled parking access etc. Everyone was also told that there was local parking nearby, how?!?! The venue is off a busy dual carriageway! We still attended but we had a 20minute walk to the venue because of where I had to park my car! Walking next to a busy dual carriageway that isn't lit, with children! Alot of people parked their cars on the grass verges of the carriageway which was very dangerous! It was an accident waiting to happen & im very shocked that their was no police/ traffic officers considering this. No organisation from social eats at all!! When we got to the venue, it was way too packed, fair was small and hardly worth going on. We was waiting in a queue for a good 20minutes just so my kids could bungee jump for a matter of 5 minutes if that! Fair was over priced, food was over priced! £8 for a hotdog!! Absolute shambles and I would not recommend at all!! On the plus side, the fireworks was pretty decent although they only lasted 15minutes.

Food was very overpriced and the ques were ridiculously long (we waited over 45 minutes). However it felt very safe and there was a good atmosphere and the fireworks and dj were amazing!

No parking on a massive venue is a massive safety issue. Themis event should have been cancelled due to parking

The event was clearly over sold. Felt unsafe and overcrowded unable to enjoy any part of it.

We couldn't attend due to lack of parking facilities, due to water logged grass, everything had to be moved to car park, we should've been notified of this and given the option of a refund

The non parking was atrocious and resulted in unsafe illegal parking on a dual carriage way disabled people were not able to park near the venue

Hugely oversold meaning viewing the fireworks was impossible for at least half of the crowd who were stood behind very large trees. No parking so cars were dangerously parked on a busy dual carriageway causing accidents. Queueing for ‘rides’ was 45+minutes to be told that the card machines were not working on some, the staff could easily have walked the queue to inform of this but couldn’t be bothered. Queues for food the same, glad we ate before I arrived. Not an enjoyable family experience at all being pushed and shoved all evening as there was not enough space for everyone there.

The parking situation at Hagley was unacceptable and dangerous. There was very poor communication with the public on the run up to the event. It was so bad that our group of 13 dropped like flies and only 2 of us decided to go after all of these issues. Once we managed to get in there it seemed well organised within the food and display area, but we did not see the bonfire. We ate before we came as the only reasonable way we could see to get there safely was to park at the Badgers sett so we ate there and did not spend any money once inside the event. Better planning needs to go into these events. In November it is not unforseen that a field will be muddy. It makes attendees question the safety of the event. Have you consulted with the safety advisory board and the local council? Did your insurance cover the change in plans. It's all worrying and very frustrating. We were looking forward to catching up with friends so a disappointing night for us to say the least. I'm glad we didn't get a taxi either as there was no safe pick up / drop off area and the road leaving the event had both cars and pedestrians along side each other very crowded and unmanaged.
If no-one got hurt on the roads then i'm amazed by that. - Not safe!
However the firework display and fire eaters we're good.

An hour before the event they advise there is no parking, half our party couldn't come due to the walk uphill to the entrance, staff we encountered were beyond rude and the place was over filled due to people without tickets walking across the field and entering through the back. The fireworks were mostly back garden grade and not high enough for the children to see and the wait for fireworks was unnecessarily long so children everywhere were cold and irritable, honestly the whole experience was enough to put anyone off. Poorly arranged event without the space for the amount of rides and stalls.

The fireworks were amazing and the dj. The food and drink was a little expensive at £10 a burger and an £6.50 for chips and next year don’t advertise as a fair as it wasnt you should advertise as children’s rides.

I didn't feel the fire eating was an appropriate choice of family entertainment. Bearing in mind my little boy was quite frightened by it. There were no pre warnings aimed at children about the dangers of playing with fire and I feel it was purely adult centred. There are children who might want to reenact what they've seen and i found it wholly inappropriate. The rest of the event was fabulous..more seating would have been perfect. Thanks
