Review of Monument Festival
Started an hour late then kooks cancelled. Very poor organisation. Toilets on campsite were not changed or emptied from the week before and were full on arrival, absolutely disgusting.
No amenities at all plus no where to get breakfast. The second tent was a mudpit and the main wasn't much better.

Over priced for food and drinks. £22 for 4 cans of larger and they were all opened for you so went flat. £28 for a bottle of wine.
The field was in a right state so really spoilt the atmosphere. We won't be going again.

Review of Monument Festival
Unfortunately the music seemed unorganised due to delays, cancellations and poor and length y stage clearances.
This coupled with the same grounds that were being used a week before caused the ground to turn easily into a mud swamp even after a dry and warm spell. Extortionate drink and food prices were the final nail in the coffin for what should have been a class day.

Review of Monument Festival
Although I enjoyed this festival I do think it was the poorest one I've attended. I've been to many of these events at Herrington Park and this one had some issues. The headliners pulled out, not the organisers fault but disappointing all the same. I had VIP tickets and I felt that the food was sub par compared to previous years, the toilets weren't cleaned enough, lacked running water and soap etc was not replenished. Smell was pretty bad. I appreciate the weather can't be helped but the supporting infrastructure seemed of a lesser standard than usual. A shame but I still enjoyed it. I just hope this is better next time and that we keep these events in Herrington.

Review of Monument Festival
Although the bands who turned up did a great job, this venue was truly terrible to the point where the headliners refused to play.
The whole place smelt like cow dung, and the thick stinking mud made getting into and using the show tents dangerous and unpleasant.
The toilets were mainly out of action a couple of hours into the event causing massive queues for the few that remained open, which were awful and out of all supplies.
This was such a shame after putting together a great lineup, but I can't recommend this event and won't return next year.

Review of Monument Festival
Not much else to do here if you want a break from the music. Very little other entertainment. The sound for Badly Drawn Boy was terrible. Could hardly hear him. There had obviously been a lot of rain leading up to the festival and after last weeks Kubix, but organizers didn't put any straw down to cover it. Also the headline act 'The Kooks' pulled out a few hours before playing. Can't see that they had any fall back plan for this. It's an expensive festival now compared to when we were last there in 2019.

Me and my husband had a great day. Think the organisers dead with The Kooks cancelling well. One thing though but this is purely due to my taste. I think Black Grape weren't on par with the other bands on the main stage. But again Black Grape fans could say the opposite to me, so you are catering to different crowds. But great atmosphere. Loads of bars and waiting for things was quick and easy. Great day and great venue.

Kooks pulling out. Why? Not enough toilets. No urinals. Need to make improvements to reduce mud in tents. It's no good having two events in the same place. Timings were off all day and not updated on the screen. Still enjoyed it but probably the worst organised festival I have been to. Some good performances from Jake Bugg, Tom A Smith, The Coral and Dodgy

A disaster of a festival. Venue so muddy and unsafe that the headline act cancelled and no refund offered. Toilets disgraceful and not cleaned since the event the weekend before. We will.not return next year!
