Review of EH6 Festival Tickets
There was a huge number and diversity of artistes but it was well nigh impossible to guage who would be to our liking - a very brief resume of each act or a link to their website/facebook etc would have been hugely useful.
It would have also have helped to have specific genres in specific venues where possible.
More breakout areas in the Biscuit Factory would have been appreciated.
It would have been good to see more folk/traditiional/jazz musicians on the programme.

Good variety of bands, I hadn't heard of several of them but what a great platform for upcoming/breaking/lesser known bands.
On the whole everyone very friendly. I only saw one muppet being ejected - his loss, not ours.
Food and drink pretty good - the Haggis Van was outstanding, and the Ferry brewery beer was fantastic.
A few teething problems I'd say but great scope for the future. Roll on next year; we'll be there!

Review of EH6 Festival Tickets
I know how hard it can be to set up and run an event on this scale where everything goes smoothly (it never does) and yes there were some teething problems but from my experience it was nothing that caused me any issues at all! Overall I had a great time, it was a brilliant day out on the Saturday and the only reason I didn't go for 2 days was because of the cost. I thought the lineup was great as I am a huge Alabama 3 and Gomez fan so I would have paid the ticket price for them alone. There was a good mix of bands of old and new, local and national. I have rated the venue as 3 stars as it is difficult to rate them all as one as the Biscuit Factory let it down slightly - the space is great but they have been running long enough now to know that basic things like ensuring all toilet doors can lock and have steady supplies in them shouldn't even be an issue - but it was. Also the queues for the bar was crazy - something needs to be done about that. I enjoyed going to different venues but I thought the pricing structure was overly complicated - and the guaranteed headliner additional cost was completely unnecessary this felt like a way to make people extra for something they didn't actually need . What really made it for me was the atmosphere with all the different people who came along - a wonderful clash of folk with all different tastes in music and bags of banter - just like a festival should be!! I really hope it comes back next year as it would be great to have this on the festival calendar and right on my doorstep - good luck!!

Yes, there were some teething problems and a bit more information would have been good (e.g. more use of website, Facebook in the lead-up) but these are minor quibbles -- the acts I saw on Day 1 at the Biscuit Factory were fantastic. I wish I could have stayed for the evening. Will be aiming to buy weekend ticket next year and will be advising all my muso pals to do the same.

Venues where to far apart.
The staff were hopeless
The buscuit Factory was an accident waiting to happen with dimly lit wet stairs & no proper organisation of movement around the building.
