Review of Glasgow Winterfest - ICE SKATING (Weekend Tickets)
Absolute shambles, paid £32 for my two daughters for 4pm got on at 425pm yesterday 14/12. No segregation for pre booked and non booked. Ice isn't cleaned properly in-between sessions so you can barely skate on it as it's rough as f**k. Letting too many people on at the same time. Avoid

Review of Glasgow Winterfest - ICE SKATING (Weekend Tickets)
We booked a slot for 4pm and queried from 330pm to get in. Didn't manage to get on the ice until about 420 and asked to clear the ice at 440pm. It was very very busy too so difficult to move about easily. Great Xmas activity but I feel it's far too expensive for what you get - really only 20 mins on the ice.

Review of Glasgow Winterfest - ICE SKATING (Weekend Tickets)
15 minutes on the ice. Absolutely ridiculous for the price. Staff not very festive either shouting at users of the ice rink for not changing out of ice skates fast enough. FAR too many people booked for the same slot and staff aren't able to manage it appropriately to allow users to enjoy their supposed 45 mins on the ice.

Queuing for over 40 minutes, no space to get your boots on or off everyone falling on top of you. Boots badly need sharpened. Massively over priced compared to other venues who are more organised than this shambles.

Review of Glasgow Winterfest - ICE SKATING (Weekend Tickets)
It was so unorganised as we had booked our tick*ts we eventually got taken upto the front of the queue at 11:55 didn't get to enter the ice skating until 12:08 the time we got our ice skates and got them on it was almost 12:15, they let far to many people on the ice and my daughter was getting knocked over with people sliding into her she has a big bruise on her knee because of this! Also they never had any music playing until the last 20 minutes and we were told to come off the ice at 2:40 so in my opinion definitely wasn't worth the money, it was too busy to enjoy it constantly trying to dodge out peoples way

Review of Glasgow Winterfest - ICE SKATING (Weekend Tickets)
Poorly organised. Booked a slot for 10.00 but the venue didn't open until 11.00. Queued at 11.00 to get shoes. Got on the ice at 11.15 and then asked to leave the session at 11.45.

Review of Glasgow Winterfest - ICE SKATING (Weekend Tickets)
the ice skating was far too busy. poor signage where people with tickets didn't know they wouldn't have to wait in the queue. also only c45 mins max on the ice for £15
each is expensive particularly when the ice was rough. No where to change shoes, all the floors were wet so left with everyone having wet socks.

Review of Glasgow Winterfest - ICE SKATING (Weekend Tickets)
Far too many people on the ice. No room to skate. Not a patch on elfingrove. Very poor this year all round. Staff were lovely though and very pleasant.

Review of Glasgow Winterfest - ICE SKATING (Weekend Tickets)
Staff were fantastic whether we were in the queue, getting/returning skates, or on the rink. Not overcrowded at all which is what we were worried about. Great controlled system for people coming in and out.
