This was my 1st ever book club, and I was attending on my own, so I was a bit apprehensive as I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I needn't have worried. Kirstie and Christina were waiting at the door to meet everyone. Kirstie explained that the tables with the dried flower arrangements were for people attending on their own, but I was welcome at any table. I was given a drinks token, and could swap this at the bar for ANY drink. The venue was lovely and very spacious, and everyone was so friendly. There was a great buzz in the room - I met a lovely group of people of varying ages, and Kirstie and Christina were hilarious. I also enjoyed the quiz, and the nibbles! Brilliant night - would highly recommend!

Waited 45 minutes in the queue to get told me and 3 other friends weren’t allowed in “for having a can of dragon soop in the queue” which in matter of fact it was finished when we left the taxi and binned, rude bouncer on front, what a way to try ruin someone’s else’s new year, won’t be back!
