This event would be so much better if a. More food outlets ( we waited 1.5 hours for our food ) inc more outlets inside VIP area ( missed opportunity ) , b Better signage when you went in for VIP etc c. Sort the queing out for everone and d. Have flood lights and security people assisting everyone when they left - as it was , it was several accidents awaiting to happen. That all said - great music and a lot to build on going forward .

We queued for 90 minutes just to gain entrance, which is not an acceptable time. The interval between each performer was too long and the music played in the intervals was mediocre. Drinks and food were absolutely extortionate (£6.50 for a can of cider) and who wants to carry a bottle of wine around with them all night with the top off and for it not to remain cold.

Long queues to get in. Sniffer dogs handled by an aggressive woman. Extortionate bar prices. Terrible selection of beers. All in warm cans. Long queues for food. Boney M were late and only sung 4 songs. Pitch black leaving the event. Very unsafe.

Acts were ok but more food venues needed. It is a long day and just lots of queues. It was very dark when you went out of venue and no one locally seemed to know it was on. we stayed in St Leonard's and stayed the next day. So many people in the shops and market in the church did not know it was on and said they would have attended. The venue is amazing and I have recommended it to everyone as Hastings and st Leonard's so beautiful to visit and just nice dancing with friends to tunes we al knew and loved.

Arriving at the correct entrance was a mission, if you followed their What3Words directions, but if you used your initiative it was easy! Waiting time to get in was reasonable, but there were others unhappy about the queue time. Once in, everything was very well arranged and accessible. We had a good view of the stage and it all looked to be well run. There was an issue with the first act not coming on stage until an hour after they were due to which lead to them only being on stage for 20 minutes instead of an hour, which was a shame as they were one of the better acts. There were long queues for food, even early on in the evening we queued for about 25 minutes and later on people were complaining of queueing for 90 minutes and missing what was happening on the stage. Over all it was an enjoyable night.

Fab night of singing and dancing. The bands were brilliant, especially Sister Sledge and Billy Ocean.

1 hour and 20 mins queue to get in so I missed my favourite act Looking forward to having a Caribbean food, but yet again the queues were massive

Acts and sound were awesome, organisation on day was poor. Stewards didn't know or say there was a vip que. No food In Vip area and not enough outlets so queued for an hour for food during soul 2 soul. Timing was messed up so Boney M only got around 20 minutes due to taking to long to get people into venue. Some guy barged right through us all with drinks and tried to start a fight with someone, he got chucked out by security who did a good job. For a joke, some drunk bloke kept leaning over and tapping me on the opposite shoulder during the best part of Billy oceans set, until I turned around and had a go at the innocent women behind, some festival people really are moronic.

Organisation was very poor. Massive queues to get in. No decent signposting for the VIP queue. Security were so slow. Sniffer dogs clearly weren't effective. Food choice was limited and queues over an hour. Limited choice of warm cans of beer. Acts were delayed. Boney M played 20 minutes of an hour act. Missed Sister Sledge due to queueing to get some food. Seemed to be microphone and sound issues for some artists. Billy Ocean was great. Organisation needs to a whole re-think for next year.

Enjoyed the music very much. Especially Billy Ocean and Sister Sledge. The venue felt very safe and the security was excellent.
The queue for food was too long ( an hour) and price of 2 burgers and 1 chips £20 a bit expensive!
Drinks not so extortionate and didn't have to queue. Staff at the bar were friendly.

A good event on the day although the organisers were very slow in releasing information about the event in advance regarding the dos and don'ts. Hope there will be another one next year.

Great evening at Boogie by the Sea. Getting in took a long time, BoneyM only played 4 songs as they was late performing, Soul to Soul lead singer was rude to audience!
More choices of food stalls would help or allow people to bring in picnics.
Beer was seriously overpriced.

Great DJ. Fun night out.

Didn't enjoy the concert. If we hadn't had VIP tickets we'd have been waiting for a very long time in a queue to get in. The first act was an hour late and people had arrived 2 hours prior so by the time things started, people where already acting half cut. There were long queues of around 50-60 people at each food van. Plus the toilets. The changeover time between each act meant everyone left to find food or a loo at these times. My friend and I gave up after Soul 11 Soul when we hadn't moved forward in a queue for 15 minutes (not the VIP experience in my opinion) and left to find food in Hastings. Given that we weren't allowed to bring food that was pretty poor. Overall, the concert felt disjointed and didn't flow with all the changeovers. I imagine getting out with a lot of drunk people at the end was not a great experience.
