Review of Hastings Reggae Festival 2024
Had a great day, artists were fabulous. Only concern was the length of time between acts. The crowd were deflated especially, when at one switch, we waited nearly an hour. Could have been covered by a DJ to keep the crowd entertained between acts. Playing a CD of the same tunes is not great way to keep people warmed up and ready for the next act. But all in all a fab day and will be there again next year

This event was boring and defo not value for money. The time between each act was ridiculous and there was no dj or any entertainment to keep the crowd entertained while we waited for hours on end and then when the acts performed, the sound quality was poor. I left by 5pm as I had enough by then. A waste of money

Music was great when it was working nothing but sound issues and waiting nearly an hour to change sets , left me feeling a bit annoyed and bored at times as when changing sets the music in the background was turned right low .
Needs to Improve the sound checks and make The set changes quicker with a decent DJ whilst this is being done to keep the crowed entertained and engaged.

I've been before and really enjoyed myself but this year there was issues with the sound. There was a fairground ride in the middle of the venue whose music was louder than some of the acts. We left early

I was totally disgusted that I paid extra money to be in the VIP area and people were walking past the security without VIP bands on.
There was only a drinks bar in the area. I had to walk the the far end of the field to get food.
There wasn't much room for people to stand when the artist were performing as there was too many people in the area.
There was also too many people smoking w**d in the area which was very over powering at times.

VIP was great, good amount of space. Little to no que when we went for drinks and all staff were polite and helpful. The only negative for me was that the gaps between acts were quite lengthy and I would recommend that the gaps are shortened. Would recommend this festival to all my friends and family members thank you
