Review of Northern Roots Festival
Brilliant weekend! Nothing to moan about except the weather... it was particularly cold and windy for midsummer and we were camping... could've done with a fire pit somewhere to warm up.
The venue itself is fabulous, lending itself really well to this quirky festival. With 3 or 4 stages there's constantly music to your taste to listen to, and the stages are all pretty close, which is great for not missing music whilst travelling from one place to another. The acts were all really high quality and made for a very eclectic line up. I really enjoyed Lau, Justin Currie, Rachel Sermanni, Be Charlotte, Louie and the Lochbacks, Ho Ro and The Elephant Sessions.
Festival tickets were amazing value for money, and food and drinks available were good quality and reasonably priced. The crowd and atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Definitely recommend getting yourself to Northern Roots- see you there in 2018!

Review of Northern Roots Festival
A great selection of bands and good beer made it a very enjoyable weekend despite the gale. Worth the ticket price, just a pity that there weren't more people there to enjoy it. Rachel Sermani has become awesome and Vegan Leather as brilliant as usual. Have Mercy Las Vegas outstanding despite their early slot. Bruce deserves credit for bringing so many good acts to the stage, just a shame it isn't to a bigger audience.

Review of Brew at the Bog 2016
As every other year, I really enjoyed the weekend. Shame about the non-delivery of the showers In the camping area but that's not a massive issue. I also felt a bit sorry for the bands playing the Northern Roots stage this year, as they could not be heard over the bands which were playing in the Barn. The beer selection was also not the best this year and I really don't understand why the Prosecco bar does not sell by the glass - you really would sell so much more if that was the case! The bands as usual were mostly brilliant and the crowd was up for a good time. The tent selling burgers etc in the camping area was much welcomed and I am always very impressed with the cleanliness of the portaloos and the amount of times they are cleaned during the day!! A great weekend and we'll definitely be back.

Review of Brew at the Bog 2016
This is the most fun I have had at a festival! I had never heard of most of the bands before, however this is part of the fun for me. Discovering new music is always a joy. All the bands I saw were excellent and now have some new favourites to look out for in the future. There is a great atmosphere good drink choices and the food was delicious! I had never been before but am already looking forward to it next year! Highly recommended.
