Review of The Big Family Day Out
Venue is stunning for a local festival, however for the 2nd consecutive year the queues for food/drinks were horrendous with no organisation or consideration whatsoever. Unfortunately until this has been addressed we won’t be going again which is a real shame as it is great for Lancaster.

Review of The Big Family Day Out
Not enough food stalls especially for kids, the only one selling hotdogs/nuggets ran out by 1pm and theyd ran out of **tchup for the chips they did still have. None of the others sold child friendly things. The circus was continually delayed so missed it and then they finished early. Craft station ran out of stuff and poorly organised. Over an hours queue for face painting, need at least 2 more painters and no music tent this year for the kids. Beautiful surroundings let down by poor organisation and lacking activities. £2 for a can of sprite is extortionate, the rest of the food was ridiculous too. An hours wait for pizza.
