1. How is it a "Caribbean Cookout" with only 2 Caribbean countries represented?
2. Did not like the idea that if I leave, I'd have to pay to come back. What if I forgot something in the car and had to go back out.
3. How can I wait over 4 hrs 32 minutes for food to reach at the front of the queue to be told I have to wait 30 minutes for chicken and that certain food I want to order finish.
4. It would be nice to have Caribbean music playing from across the islands not just one country.
5. Nice to have flags of different countries. Up and around the area.
6. The rum punch was juice, didn't taste a hint of rum, Baileys have more alcohol taste than the rum punch.
Overall, it was not as advertised and would not return unless there is major improvements. I travel from Birmingham to come here for a day of dancing, food and music and spent the majority of the time waiting for food.

The great Caribbean cook out ,people had to que for 3 hours or more to buy food ,there should have been more stalls selling food or better staffed stalls sorry but that was a let down for me

The best thing about the event was the rides for kids. The food was ridiculously overpriced, we queued for over two hours (missing the live acts we paid to see), got to the front and the girls with a bad attitude were serving uncooked chicken, and charging £8 for one piece and a slop of rice! They stopped serving when they were warned/challenged (by a customer & one of their own staff members) about the dangers of serving half-raw food. We left early (there was eight in our group), because we had to (starving), go and eat elsewhere. £15 for a ticket and it was an absolute shambles/disgrace!

No food at a cookout. Mis sold and not happy at all. Would even request a refund as we were so annoyed. We had the get a takeaway on the way home from a cookout?!!!!

For saying it was called the big carabbean cook out, only 2 vendors were selling food that actually represented Caribbean food, so they had 2 huge ques that we qued in for over an hour just to be told they were running out of rice and beans and the jerk chicken was completely raw in the middle, bare in mind this was only 2hrs in, how can you only bring food for 100+ people? For this privileged we had to pay £12 per person! Then there were 3 or 4 other vendors with ques that only had a few to non people in, as the food was something that represented Caribbean food from asda! There was no sign of a pattie within the whole place and most people were walking round eating chips, as the rest of the food was extortionate. The music was awful and didn't represent Caribbean culture what so ever. I can't believe we actually had to pay to get in to this event. We came from Coventry and in total the day cost us over £150 for 2 adults to children and to be honest I feel robbed after watching the advertisement for it. The whole thing was completely mis-sold to us. There was 1 ride for older kids and 1 for young children a trampoline, a fairground type stall and 2 stalls selling clothes and jewellery. We have been to several Caribbean events and carnivals over the years and this was by far the worst! We certainly won't be recommending or returning.

Music was not great by any means needed to be more selection of music which ppl could enjoy more feel the vibe draw crowds in not a way ,not enough food stalls waited 3hrs or more queuing for food should not have happened, the whole idea about entering venue and not being able to come back in was off putting tbh I think the whole venue was really hiped up overall, this should of been a nice chilled day out instead it was not a good experience the venue was not worth it did not have a good experience really unsure if I would attend again .
