I haven't catch any food..and it didn't meet my expectations...i expected something more extended..with a lot more activities...more interactive...more food stands..suvenir stands...and the prices were exagerated to be honest..however i will pay the price for quality but wasn't the case...let say was all right as i had a reason to go out from my house with my partner for some time spent togheter...that's the only positive thing

Way too expensive to enter. Would have paid about £5 per adult at the very very most. Was going to come with friends but they didn't want to pay the price either and now glad they didn't come otherwise it would have been embarrassing us inviting the for a "fun day out". Hardly any food places when it was meant to be called a "food village" so the queues were enormous! Music list was announced way too late so couldn't plan the day, we would have came later if we knew the acts we wanted to see were on later, had to leave as kids were bored so missed the ones we wanted to see.
Fun fair prices were extortionate so couldn't afford for the kids to do more then 1 ride each.
There was absolutely no vibe. Needed acts/dancers/people dressed up just to keep the atmosphere there.
We came for an hour and left, a hell of a lot of money for an hour in total. My partner was the one who wanted to come and was looking forward to it. Very disappointed and unfortunately won't be returning.

Everything ok apart from not being able to get the carribean food due to 2 - 3 hour queues, could have done with more food stalls.

Awful!! Would never recommend this to anyone. Waited an hour and a half for food and gave up on the end and went to turtle bay instead. Hardly a cook out with only three food stalls! Unable to take food and drink in which further made the situation worse, only received the set line up 10 mins before the event started. Such a poorly organised event for the price, I've seen better at a school fate! So disappointed as I was looking forward to a nice family fun day.

It was a lovely day out, great atmosphere, food and music. Congratulations to the organizers.

The experience was bad especially having to wait more than 3 hours in the queue to pay for food. Jumping castle was £5 for 5 min! Ridiculous! Seemed to me adults were smoking everywhere with no regard for children. I had to leave early.

need better music options when it comes to the live music and the food was great but there was only 2 options when it came to jerk chicken so was waiting in line for food for 3 hours plus maybe need more caribbean food vendures a lot of people were not happy after waiting so long to eat and by time they ate it was already after 9pm

needed more advertising a lot of people didn't know about the event, not much reflection on Caribbean theme, not well organised a long wait for food, no Caribbean flags not a good representation of Caribbean heritage. not well advertised, more music artist to show that it is a Caribbean event, atmosphere was lacking. It would be nice to have another one but a lot of work to be done for next time needs lots of promotion, and a good music and dance artist.

My family were left disappointed after attending the "big Caribbean cook out" (9 adults and 2 children) everything was overpriced, £7 for a chicken burger in a dry bun with not even a slice of lettuce or onions. Others queued for Caribbean food at 1 of 4 options, waited 1 hour 30 mins to then be told they had ran out of food and had to wait for fresh coals to heat up and then to cook more food. Entertainment didn't have much Caribbean vibes and seemed to be aimed at the younger crowd (e.g rappers that you couldn't understand. One of which swore during one of the songs despite the park being full of children and families) drinks options at the bar was very limited, beers / cider not even in ice buckets, no diet / sugar free options. When I asked for a straw it felt like too much trouble for the staff member, she said no and walked off.

It was advertised as being a cookout, but I didn’t get any food even though we stood in the queue for over 4 hours ( no exaggeration ). This event was incredibly poorly planned, waste of money. The only good thing was the artist that we managed to see after wasting the majority of our time in the food queues. It’s a shame that these artists didn’t get the attention they deserved because the food stalls were being poorly run.

I was disappointed with the organisation of the event.
I think it's insane to expect thousands of people and only having a few vendors selling food.
As the event was advertised as a Caribbean cookout I expected more choice and more stands.
We ended up waiting in the queue more that 3 hours and a half because there were only 2 people working in the food stand we chose. After waiting for so long we gave up and just went back home.
The space could've been organised better, and for a paid event I was honestly expecting more.
Therefore, I would like to receive a refund as I paid for an event where I spent more time queuing than enjoying my time.

Entering the event was structured and organised, staff were professional, proficient and friendly.
Calling it The Big Caribbean Cookout was a misnomer as where were the Caribbean food stalls? To have only two (as I saw) and people queuing for hours was extremely disappointing.
