Review of This is how it feels in the park festival
Poor management was absolutely disgusting. No information about running out of all the beers from a very early time. Spent hours queueing up only to find when you got there. There was no beer in the absolutely disgusting spoiled my day missed most of the bands because i was standing in queues waiting for disappointment at the end of it, these people should not be running a bar if I thought there was any chance of getting a refund I would be applying but owing to the manner of the managers that I spoke to I know there would be no chance very very very disappointed

Over an hour queues at the bar, VIP tent music so loud you couldn’t hear the bands, rained and they shut everything down early (fair enough it was torrential rain but clearly not prepared for bad weather), bars ran out of drinks, food stalls ran out of food, toilets were disgusting, nobody manning the childrens areas which were complete chaos. Other than that, great day had by all 🤣🤣

Badly organised!
Massive queues for drinks, bar ran by kids, missed band sets.
Couldn’t hear bands over the music coming from VIP tent.
Minimal selection of foods & barely anything left by 5ish.
Bar ran out of beer by 5.30.
No fun fair as advertised.
Not enough toilets.
Overall, the organisers just wanted maximum profit for minimal effort & to not allow people to bring their own food or drink to actually have none of either available is disgusting!!!

Great bands brilliant to have a local to me event so no taxi required the weather was terrible at times which meant the last band was cancelled but that is beyond the organisers control however the event was woefully under prepared with places to purchase food and drink, hour long wait to get a round of drinks started running out of some types of drink within the first few hours and not enough food vendors there so again large wait to order and then for food to be ready, if ticketed events aren’t going to allow you take anything in to eat or drink then make facilities reflect ticket sales.

Rough cliental who obviously frequent the establishment often therefore the security favoured them. Rip off drink prices and shambolic organisation of the bar. Cancelled the last act due to the weather even though the rain had stopped. Pathetic

Review of This is how it feels in the park festival
Not very well thought through. Insufficient amount of toilets resulting in men using the bushes across the field. Lack of beer tents & food stalls. One band on the main stage & a DJ in the VIP tent which were very close to each other meant wherever you were stood, you could hear two lots of music. Lots of empty space which could have been room for more beer tents which equals less queues which equals happy guests. And my biggest annoyance was that I paid extra for VIP tickets to the VIP tent which wasn't managed very well resulting in Non VIPs in there, making my queue for the bar an hour long at one point, and when we questioned the security about this his answer was "yes, I know" & shrugged his shoulders. Needless to say we left early. This could have been a really good event had it been thought through & managed better. Not sure sadly is the right word but I won't be returning next year.

Unsafe, shambolic organisation, 1hr wait for drinks, served by underage staff, no bins, no supervision on bouncy castle. How the company is allowed to stage events like this is beyond me.

VIP was a disaster zone! There were six of us. You pay the extra to avoid queues and have that little touch of service.
The staff were clearly allowing their ‘friends’ to enter VIP without paying, simply giving them a wristband. I know this for a fact as I knew at least six people who told me and witnessed it myself.
The bar was dreadful- you had to queue for over 30 minutes to get a drink!! Then by 4pm, they’d ran out of beer!! Only cider left that tasted more like battery acid. Astonishing lack of planning and organisation. Running out of beer at a music festival…in Leicester… at a RUGBY club! (Apparently there were around 3000 tickets sold. Surely it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to calculate how much beer you may need, how many staff and bar areas. )
Another incredible feat of crap planning was the fact that you had DJ’s in the VIP tent blasting out house music drivel, or whatever you call it. What a terrible idea!! It was so loud you couldn’t hear the actual bands on stage that you paid VIP prices too see. Many people were obviously quite annoyed with this , so I actually asked the guy seemingly in charge of VIP to ask the DJ’s to turn it down THREE times. The guy was very understanding, agreed and asked the DJ’s to reduce the volume. On all three occasions, the volume was back up within two minutes. Ugh- just crap!
Oh, and just to top it off, a quick to say thank you to the scumbag who stole my umbrella when the heavens opened. I hope you choke on it somehow, you thieving bastard!
So, all in all, awful experience in VIP.

Enjoyed the event, despite the challenging weather at times. Reasonable selection of drinks available. Unfortunately the ques for food and drink were far too long throughout the day. Can't remember seeing anywhere selling tea and coffee. Could have done with an outlet selling 'basic' hot dogs and burgers (and chips). A lot of the food available was a little too exotic for my taste. The only outlet that may have sold some sort of burgers didn't appear to show a price list at all, which I found irritating, especially as the ques were really long: so that outlet did not get my custom.

Poor venue not enough bars or toilets and bars also ran out of beer very quickly and the staff were slow at serving so massive queues formed. Felt like I spent the whole day queuing and the drinks prices were too expensive for what you got. The event was also abandoned due to rain so we didn’t get to see two of the acts at the event which was disappointing.
Probably won’t go again next year if it’s on again.

All good apart from the drinks all running out by 5pm. By the time they got more drinks it was gone in a flash. Only 2 beer tents not enough for the amount of people so the queues too long. Shelter for when it rains like it did on Saturday & toilet to be re filled with toilet roll .

This was a good day festival we were with a group of 12. Only negatives about the event was the queues for the bars and food vans. It would have been better if allowed to take in certain amount of own food and drink so not stuck in a queue for long periods.

Paid for VIP, event organiser allowed people who hasn't in so resulted in very long bar q,s. Bar staff taking cash from clearly underage children to hand over things like bottles of vodka. Witnessed first hand. No men urinals so resulting in men going up against people's gardens. People walking in through the bushes with of license drinks. Security non existent. Police ended up arriving and arresting some people. Not sure what for.
