Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
Last years event was supposedly excellent, but this year obviously greed took over. There were to many people it was so unsafe, I'm suprised no one got hurt. You couldn't get near any of the amusements, especially if you had small children or buggies, nor could you get near the food vendors which were utter chaos, no one taking charge of queuing and people waiting ages for food they had already paid for, people queuing down a fire escape to get to the bar, what I assume were club members pushing in at the bar because they felt the we're entitled to. We ended up standing in the car park waiting for the fire works, which were late and dismal, we didn't even stay for the second lot as our kids were to tired from waiting and hungry as they had had no food. We got on the coach, which again was a shambles, the first coach blocking in the disabled access parking so no one who had parked there could leave. And they were still trying to sell tickets on the door and online, how many people were you trying to cram in? It was a nightmare. We won't be back.

Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
Too busy, no music, nobody telling you when fireworks were going to start and queues over 40 minutes to get a drink, food stalls ran out of food half way through the night.

Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
We booked to take our grandson for his first display, we pre-booked our tickets, people were still paying on the gate way past the time they said you could not enter. Prices on the fair were extreme £5 hook a duck for a £1 shop toy BUT you could buy the big toys for £25 and they then pretend you have won !! Food was so expensive and queues were blending into the crowd. Considering it is a big rugby club, only the corner bit was used, the big clubhouse blocked the fireworks if you couldn't get a space in the small carpark area also exit area. We couldn't let our grandson walk and had to carry him as he wasn't safe in his pushchair while trying to walk round, there were too many people, definitely over crowded and with a lot of youngsters without parents/carers, gangs of teenagers openly smoking w**d. The fireworks were nothing to write home about, they did last longer than other reviews have stated but not worth the price paid to watch.
