Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
It was such a waste of money. Fireworks were poor and there were technical difficulties. No where to sit other than a few picnic tables. Fairground was limited and overpriced. All in all a terrible event.

Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
It was far to busy, most stalls ran out of food or had an half hour wait, very crammed in and both of my little girls couldn’t see the fire works because the crowds was too big and stalls etc was in the way. The display itself was again very disappointing

Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
Far too many people for the amount of rides. Poor firework display. Did not even see the second display as waiting in line for a ride and was not aware of what time they started

Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
The event was buzzing and full of atmosphere however too many were allowed to attend and it was just packed with long queues to obtain any food or drink (which we gave up on!) two short displays of fireworks, the second of which was great. Just too many people in the space available for it to be the experience we were hoping for

Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
Overall a good fireworks display at a reasonable price. The free shuttle bus for the park and ride made for hassle free parking. The only negative was that there was too many people for the size of the venue.

Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
There was no Music only the fair ground ride at end of carpark.
music needed to go with the fireworks give some Atmosphere.
was this for Families??? or 12-17 having a night out
Too many Tickets were sold, Felt dangerous. couldn't use the Facilities as queues were too long.
Second set of fire works much better than the first should do just one set.
food prices overpriced for what you got. tasty though but small.

Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
It should have been a great evening but it was so overcrowded, i was scared to let go of my young children’s hands, the queues were really long for the fair rides and drinks/ food. The fireworks were over 20 mins late and when you have young children they cannot wait patiently for a long amount of time.
Think the venue either needs to be bigger or number of people attending capped to enable everyone to enjoy it safely.

Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
The fireworks were good but the venue was not appropriate for the amount of people there. There was no bonfire, just a dark car park with no atmosphere. I was quite suprised at how poor the venue was and there was no itinerary which I assumed was a tactic to keep people there spending as long as possible but this wasn't successful as the que's were so long we couldn't get a drink. It wasn't family friendly and was focused more around the fair for teenagers, which was also rammed. Would not dream of recommending.

Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
This is the first time we have been to the Leicester forest east rugby club. There was far too many people, we missed the first set of fireworks and ended up walking back home with a 5 years old and a 17 month old as the queues for the bus was horrendous. The fireworks were amazing but after a long wait to get to the grounds and missing the first set of fireworks we were only there for around an hour before we gave up due to the mass amount of people and not being able to even see what food and stalls were around.

Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
Having lived in LFE for over 8 years, we finally decided to go to the fireworks display. There were no issues with regards to the booking process on Skiddle and messages and QR codes came through fine.
The venue itself didn't have any parking and therefore all around the area there were lots of cars parked on kerbs / pavements / junctions. There were a number of families with pushchairs who had to walk in the road as the footpaths near the venue were blocked by inconsiderate drivers. The venue itself is small and very overcrowded. There was very little crowd control and minimal safety to the site. It was over-packed and people were pushing and falling over each other. There were people falling/slipping and sliding off the mud and there was one poor lady who was on the floor for a good 45 minutes after having slipped on the mud.
The rides on offer had music blaring out so when it was time for the fireworks, it took some of the excitement out as all you could hear was the music at times.
The food stalls were again completely overcrowded, no crowd control and the young woman on the Cotton Candy / Donuts van was extremely rude to several paying customers. There was over a 20 minute wait for 4 donuts as there was only 1 lady frying them.
There were people who had brought their own alcohol on site as well so there were glass bottles etc laying around on the fields / spectator viewing areas.
This is certainly not a venue suitable for families with young children.
The fireworks themselves were good in all fairness.

Review of Forest Firework Display 2023
As a disabled person I will not be returning next year. We were jammed in like sardines. I was repeatedly pushed into (on purpose a few times). We sat on the balcony and the grounds below us looked like a mosh pit. On the way out, no one could move and more people were just crushing into everyone else. We were stuck for a few minutes not moving anywhere because there was literally no where to go. It was incredibly claustrophobic and, quite frankly, I’m surprised no one was injured. On the way out we watched a chap in a wheelchair struggle to exit the venue and then struggle to navigate the path because of the crowd. There were a group of young lads (which I appreciate isn’t the venues fault) who literally were pushing people out of the way to get into the venue after the fire works had stopped (and after last entry had passed). One of them forced his way into a wheelchair user ahead of us, forcing him to struggle off the path onto the soaked verge. When confronted by my husband, he threatened him. People were literally climbing through hedges to get out of there. Tbh I’m surprised they were allowed that amount of people there as it definitely wasn’t safe (for anyone let alone children etc). The prices of some of the rides were £5! They weren’t even that at Pride (which had the same company providing the rides). Was hoping to support local businesses, but next year we’ll just go to abbey park. At least I know it can be navigated safely without injury
